This is an awesome resource for many levels of French. I have been studying consistently for 18 months. My writing and reading is about B1-2 level but my oral comprehension is A2 - this book really forces me to slow down and work on proper pronunciation and the audio is great. You can really learn a lot. Nice scaffolding of grammaire and speaking skills with humor and culture. Well done!!!

Excellent book to complement your teaching in the classroom. Great audio quality. The content is somewhatb scattered, but it will be a great support material.

This is my favorite French audio material of all that I have been able to find. I think even a complete beginner could learn a lot by listening to the recordings of the first 20 or so chapters and trying to do the exercises. Each chapter begins with a conversation between two people about some topic that focuses on a point of grammar, followed by usually at least sixteen verbal exercises for the listener to practice the point of grammar. After each exercise, there is silent audio space to verbalize what you think is the answer, and then the correct answer is given. There are 80 chapters, so there are approximately 1200 audio exercises in all! I have been using this audio material for at least a year and it is still the most interesting and useful of all that I have. I am at an intermediate level now and I find the intermediate level audio exercises challenging and fun, the more advanced exercises are still a little beyond me, but I like to try them anyway, and I still enjoy going back to the beginning and reinforcing the initial material and sometimes learning something new. I have found the book useful mainly for confirming my understanding of the audio material, especially for the conversations that precede each set of audio exercises. The book is an exact written mirror of the audio material, which is really useful sometimes. The book can be used to learn correct writing, and at the end of the book, there is a "corriges" section. I wish there were more book+CD combinations like this one in existence. You can probably order it from amazon.co.uk or amazon.de.

I'm up to DELF B2 level but I've still found this book to be an excellent revision tool. There are more little gaps in my knowledge than I care to admit and this book covers them all in a really clear fashion. I even like the pictures!

I ordered this book for delivery to France - and was extremely pleased with the delivery - it arrived within a week of ordering. It is an excellent book but you do need to know some French as it is all written in French. The answers are in the back of the book so no need to purchase an answer book. Excellent all round - especially the delivery.

great grammar book for students learning French as it is all in French so reading it in French puts you in the mindset. Use it a lot
