I love this prehistoric fish design. It was easy to assemble and makes for an interesting piece on my table. The bare lightbulb, tho, is annoying for the way it shines in my eyes when I watch tv. I will have to put it behind my recliner so I can’t see the bulb so it kind of did not fulfill the need I bought it for. Still, I love that lamp for the novelty and creativity of it.

Product looks similar to pictures and description but of a lesser quality. Product arrived with with exposed copper in wires. Wire for fixture was 22 gauage. Smallest allowable wiring for use in fixtures is 18 gauge in united states. Still a unique looking piece.

I was a little worried about purchasing this lamp, as I saw quite a few bad reviews. But I went with the large size fish and I was not disappointed when it came in. It was easy to assemble, came with a bulb, and if you don't have a million extra boxes to plug a USB into, then that's a you problem, cause I legit found one in my couch. Excellent. Works great. I have it on my nightstand currently, but I will be putting it on my desk when I get it.

The media could not be loaded.  This lamp is quite unique but not the quality as shown in all the photos. There are not as many teeth and the brushed metal looks cheap. I had to bend the fins back into place when it arrived. It is easy to put together but the spring for the light is NOT adjustable, as stated in the description, it just loosely flops around. Still is cool to look at, but falsely advertised in the photos and description.

Looks like a child's lamp. Can't really see it. It hides.I was expecting it to be bigger. Considering I bought the large one. , if this is the large, then I'd hate to see size comparison for the medium and small one. I was sold on the teeth, scales, and size. This looks like a child's project.Nothing is the same as advertised. It's a misleading product.Pretty small and cheesy looking. Seeing how I can't return this. And didn't want to wasted my time with more disappointment I'm going to have to redo the wiring and make some modifications to try and better correctly make this safe. so the wires don't get accidentally ripped out. They need to take the pictures off of this advertisement. You will not receive what is pictured. Its just splotches of silver paint all over it to give it that shiny appearance, will nit receive the rustic, iron, look.I'd like to see a preview of the diffrebt size fishes they offer. I wanted to know which size is mine. Cause it can't be a large. One..if it is, then thw small ones have to be no bigger then your palm of your hand.Disappointed in the size. I already hate the idea that it's not what was lead to believe you would purchase on the quality. But its the s8ze that disappointed me . So very very small wouldn't have paid 40 for this lamp. But i did. This is like a 15$ lamp or less.I really was expecting a bigger lamp

It’s a cute design and did work when Ian was plugged in. The cords are uncovered and a little tacky how they show. We got the large fish so it stood up good. The fins on the side were completely bent up and the back fin was also bent almost in half. So I do not think the quality for the money matches.

I was really looking forward to receiving this as it looks so cute in the picture. However, the head assembly that the lightbulb screws into was missing entirely. The pieces were tossed in the box and as others have noted there are no assembly instructions and the fins are bent. Also as others have noted there are only half the number of “teeth” as represented by the photo. Very disappointed to receive a lamp with no lamp assembly with just a bulb and nothing to screw it into.

This was the cutest gift I have given my hubs, minus our daughter. Lights up nicely and is super cute!
