I am very pleased with this mount - for the price it seems especially well made and functional. My previous attempt to purchase a suction mount was pretty miserable. The suction cups were pretty flimsy, it was hard to get a good attachment, and the suction generally failed in a couple of days. This beauty is very eager to latch on - in fact, if there's a flaw to this, I'd say don't buy this if you need to move it around regularly, it attaches so hard it's a chore to get it off. Once latched on, it has been solid for some weeks now. I also have to compliment the design of the latch - many use a simple lever to pull on the suction cup - they are often difficult to move and even painful to the finger when you're trying to loosen the mount. This one has a full width handle that is easy to operate and comfortable even.I base this review on using it on window glass that is mostly protected from the sun, but there are a few hours a day where it gets full tropical sun and it still holds great.

Made the mistake of buying two of them, even when mounted on a clean and clear surface it loses suction after a few minutes and falls off. Not for use more than a few minutes and to use of anything of value.

We love the idea of this mount and have used it on several occasions, but the problem we have is that it is not a firm mount. We have it on the dash of a 2016 Dodge Caravan. We prepped the center of the dash area with a vinegar-water wipe down to remove the dash oil shine and it mounted well, even in the Tucson, AZ heat!. But it shakes while even going down Interstate 10! We are planning to mold a small brace to go under the arm to keep it solid and unshakable, as it shakes way too much on a rough road, which we are on frequently when filming. . . We are wondering if a windshielf mount might shake less?

I purchased this item in order to mount a webcam to a mirror or window using the suction cup. It works great! Just make sure the glass is clean. Should stick to ceramic tile as well. The support arm pivots 180 degrees in very small increments and the camera-end features a uni-ball mount with a 1/4-20 stud and lock-ring. The movable points both have thumb-screws to tighten them up or loosen them. The combination of all this allows for just about ANY camera angle. There's also a special mounting piece for a GoPro camera...Which I didn't use. The quality is good, the shipping was fast and the price was right. Would buy from this seller again.
