I picked this up for our Suzuki 115, it’s a little on the large size but is easy to put on and take off. The strap keeps it secure when windy and appears to be a decent grade material. Hoping for years of use out of this cover.

Size Matters! - Don't be fooled by so many reviews speaking of these being big! I have a Mercury 150 4-stroke and based on reviews I ordered the 50 - 115 size as another reviewer spoke of using it on a 75 and on a 150. It would not fit over the cowl at all. I returned that size and got the 115 - 225hp size and it fits perfectly without much slack at all. I am using it for winter protection while stored in NH. Seems to be reasonably well made. I'll update if anything adverse happens with it.UPDATE: After one of the most brutal winters in history for NH, the cover held up very well without any signs of weathering. I anticipate many years of service before needing to replace, and I would simply re-order this one if available.

I have a 2003 Yamaha VX225 2 stroke motor. I first ordered the 225-300 size. It was way too big for my motor. Called and got a return from Amazon. Took 10 seconds at the UPS store to return and get refund posted. I ordered the 115-225 model and it fits very well. Just "snug" enough to take a moment or two to put on. Cinch strap needs a little effort to tighten but works well. Have not taken the boat out yet to see how is trailers. Well made though.

My old motor cover ripped, so I dreaded buying a new one since my last one was $180. I wasn't expecting much when I bought this one, but when I received it; I was pleasantly surprised. It's made very well, fits my motor perfectly and kind of makes me mad that I spent $180 on my last motor cover. It's a great cover and seems like it'll last some years. My boat stays in the water and the motor sees the morning sun, so two to three years is great if this cover lasts that long. For people looking at fitment.....my motor is a 2008 Mercury 175 optimax pro sx

Seems durable and fits my 150hp great.

This cover fit my Yamaha Vmax 2 stroke 150 HP engine perfectly with some room to spare. I really like the material quality...looks like it will last a long time. I also really like the strap and buckle system. There is plenty of adjustment to tighten in down onto any sized motor...one side of the buckle is fixed and you just pull the strap on the other side and it tightens up as tight as you want. Much better that the previous canvas cover I had which eventually degraded.

I can't comment on quality/durability yet as I just received the MW1-225 cover this week, but it fits my 2016 Honda 150hp motor so tight that I thought I was going to have to send it back, and if it shrinks at all it will not come off in the spring! Honda outboards seem to be larger than other brands with the same hp, so I would order the WM1-300 for a 4 cycle 115 or 150 Honda. The cover does seem to be well constructed.

The cover lasted 3.5 years before the first rip appeared on the top. The material now feels thinner than when new. I used this cover on a Yamaha 150 in partial shade in Florida, probably removing it and putting it on again ~30 times.It fades from the grey color to whitish. The engine cover plastic snaps that tighten around the base of the cover seem healthy after 3.5 years.For reference, the original boat cover which is 15 years old, is in better shape than the engine cover, but was much more expensive.

It’s difficult to select a size so reading these comments helped me. It fits small, so if your motor is at the top end of the size range, consider going up a size. The 115-225 hp size fits our 2018 Yamaha 115hp perfectly. The strap is very sturdy and cinches it on snugly, so it won’t come off.Very happy with this purchase.

I have a 200 HP Suzuki and the 115-225 HP cover was too small and had to be returned. I ordered the 225-300 HP Cover which was a quick delivery and fits great. No issues on returning the product.The 0-25 HP cover fits a little large on the 9.9 HP Suzuki and has to be altered. Hope this helps

Glad I ordered the larger sized cover- fit with ease. Well made. Double stitched, good closure clasps. Wish it was a bit longer (length) but thus works!

Very happy with this purchase. It fit the motor perfectly and the straps cinched it up tight. High winds did not affect it in the least!
