Fresh tasting and so good.
These peanut bars have become difficult to find. I checked Amazon and sure enough they did not disappoint me. The bars are crunchy and sweet with a great peanut taste. The price was reasonable and we took half of them on a family trip and everyone seemed to enjoy them.

Excellant replacement for the now extinct Planters peanut bars
I had been eating Planters peanut planks since I was a kid. My local pharmacy had a candy display by the checkout counters and I would usually pick up a bar or two every time I shopped there. The bars disappeared several years ago and I later learned that Planters had stopped making them. Recently I discovered that Old Dominion made a peanut bar that was quite close to the Planters version. I decided to try the Old Dominion bars. They are very good and come close to the taste and texture of the Planters bars. The only difference is that the Planters version had a salty component that is missing from the Old Dominion bars. Nevertheless I am truly enjoying the Old Dominion bars. I had some doubts about purchasing 36 of the bars, but when I showed the box to my wife, she revealed that she enjoyed eating peanut bars when she was young. So between the two of us we should have no problems finishing off the entire box.

Peanut bar
Everything was good except probably half the box , the bars were broken in shipping I am assuming. Still good product taste wise. Shipped on time and arrived as promised

Corn syrup and sugar sounds good but changes everything I remember about the bars
The texture was sticky and gummy not crisp and easy to eat….the sweet part sticks to your teeth and doesn’t allow the crunch we remember from the bars we bought for years. So sad to think the company doesn’t understand the great bars we loved and searched for until we learned they stopped making them, think it was the lance company. Gave a few bars to my son to try after I used a hammer to break them up some and he felt the same way I felt .. sticky n gummy. Going to a dance tonight n will put on snack table to keep from throwing them away. I blame the corn syrup for the wrong texture… they look great but not easy to eat.son said taste is not as good either.

I always love the old Planter's Peanut Planks. These are a good substitute.
