I should have looked at the picture a little more closely. I bought the dark bronze because that color coordinates with my other light fixtures, plus the antique brass ties in nicely with the brass accents I have in our house. I wish I had looked more closely at the pictures because I didn't notice the white threaded porcelain light socket shows on the bronze color. It isn't covered like it is on the chrome color. And, unfortunately, in person, the white socket really shows up against the dark bronze color when you're looking up at the fixture, which makes it look cheap. Also, the piece that looks like it has screws to hold the glass shade is for decorative purposes only. It honestly does nothing. It's fake. The screws do not hold the glass. The white ring that screws onto the porcelain light socket is what holds everything together. I included a picture that shows all the parts separated. I will say, I'm very impressed with the weight and quality of the glass shade. I thought it would be much thinner, but it's very thick and heavy. As you can see in the last picture, I did find a solution to hide the threaded porcelain light socket; but it involved buying an additional part and it won't work with the fake piece that's supposed to look like it's holding the glass shade. I'd rather skip the fake part and have the white porcelain part hidden, even if it did make the light less economical. If you're okay with the white porcelain showing, this is a very nice light, especially for the price, but there are some design elements that really make it less than ideal if you are trying to upgrade the lighting in your home. The manufacturer missed the mark on this dark bronze light fixture.

I was expecting a mediocre product for a little over $20, but was very pleased to find that this was a very good product. The metal parts were comparable to anything you would find in any lighting or giant hardware store. However, the glass is very good quality. For the money, I had very little expectations. It doesn't show in their pictures well enough. It's very thick, unblemished glass. It looks really good. Again, very pleased with this purchase.

I bought these in chrome and they look so much better than the old white plastic bowls that used to be there. They came with everything needed to install them and ignoring the issues I ran into taking the old ones down and with bad electrical box installations, I was able to install in under 5 minutes.One note to add, if your electrical box is recessed into the ceiling, the screws will be a bit short. I got around this by not attaching the metal plate all the way flush to the box and using two rulers to hold it down until I could get the caps started onto the screws. The other fixture I had had the opposite problem because the holes in the box were too shallow and caused the plate to attach below the ceiling level. Then the provided screws were too long. This isn’t the problem of the light in my opinion. This is a problem with whoever did the electrical work... The company could provide more lengths of these screws if feasible but the ones provided can be worked with. I can’t take off a star just because someone got in too big a hurry on my house when it was built.

I installed it in my closet to replace an old pull chain type light and used this with a motion sensor light. This fixture looks so much more expensive than it’s worth. Installation was very super easy. I only wish the two holding screws with decorative caps were a bit more longer. However with some adjustment i was able to use them. The glass is heavy and with good finish, no sharp edges. Overall it is much bigger than i thought it would be but that’s okay. It looks so nice that i am thinking that i should relocate it to main entrance rather than in a closet where no body sees it 😄

I purchased two of these lights to replace some hideous builder grade boob lights. I was able to install them pretty quickly, and I really like how they look. The glass shade was surprisingly substantial. The metal part was a bit on the flimsy side but considering the price I can’t complain. The lights look great and I purchased LED filament bulbs and they look perfect.

I like this light. It does jump around in price. Sometimes it’s fourth something and other times it’s twenty something. I would not pay anymore than $30.00. I bought it for $23 or so. If the price is high just wait. It’ll come back down. Remember it only takes up to 60 watts. The bulb that I got (similar to the one in the picture) is not terribly bright so beware if you’re looking for a really bright light, this is probably not your best choice. My lamps lights are brighter. Since I didn’t need something terribly bright, this works just fine.

High quality for what you pay. Looks better than entry level. I had to return because the description does not include a measurement I needed and this light did not meet that measurement requirement. The measurement is the lip circumference of the glass shade (the part that meets the metal lamp). This design is for a 2" opening and the shade and lamp are designed to cradle the glass as opposed to press against the holding screws. I was only buying it for the fixture (not the shade) and wanted to put my 4" shade on it, but it will not work for that purpose. I had to return and did search for this measurement before buying.

A Very Nice Look for a very fine Price, It took me only about 45 minutes to remove my old out hallway lamp and replace it with this. The Only issue that I had was when I when to attach the fixture to the mounting plate, I found that the included screws were too long, about 3/8 inch, So instead of just going to the local Hardware store, I cut the screws off, Yet, you guess too short, Having other screws on hand, I had to re-cut the 2 more again, Work out fine, this time just perfect.
