24” model could use one mod to be perfect.
There are tons of reviews, and I largely love this saw. That said, here is the one one thing that could be improved: The black plastic that levers itself into the handle to tension the blade looks to be the same plastic piece used on shorter saws, probably the 21”. If you look at this pic I attached, it leaves a gap toward the top of the handle that creates discomfort while sawing. Granted, it can almost not be felt while wearing thick leather guide or work gloves, but that is not an every time sort of scenario. By increasing the length of this plastic by about 2-3 inches, that gap could be closed, and create much better sawing experience overall.Once again, not a deal-breaker by any stretch, but could be fixed to make it 5-star in my book.

Makes super easy work of small to medium trees.
Not sure why I didnt buy one of these years ago. I've been hacking away at branches, trees with a foresters axe and this simply does the same work in half the time. It is compact, easy to stow and set up and the blade breezes through woood with a good steady stroke. My only complaint is that the handle can get a bit uncomfortable due the locking mechanism that holds the assembled saw in place jutting out thus created a small ridge that creates pressure points on your palms with moderate use. Leather gloves will help with this. Overall, I can't wait to use it again!

Great Customer Service!
Due to shipping incident (box crushed in delivery), the saw handle arrived damaged. I promptly e-mailed the manufacturer the next day and they quickly replied. Within 3 days via UPS expedited shipping, I had a replacement handle with spare screws! The saw is lightweight and fairly compact (less than 25 inches for the Boreal 24). Have not cut with it yet, but it assembles and disassembles easily. Very pleased and great for camping as well as bushcraft. Can easily be brought into the backcountry of Maine.

Full price for a manufacture second saw.
After I read/watched many good reviews and YouTube videos about Agawa saw, I was excited to order my Agawa borea24 saw from Agawa at Amazon. My first impression of the saw is it has a good design and U-frame structure. Three U-frame sections are connected by 4 rivets which are essential for the saw to work under tension. After I found one of four rivets has a big crack, I am not happy. I contacted Agawa and provided the picture shown the crack rivet (see attached photos). Agawa said crack rivet was unusual and agreed to send me a replacement saw. Because of the confidence of Agawa, I ordered three unreturnable Bahco dry wood saw blades from an Amazon seller. I received the replacement saw week after and found 2 out of 4 rivets were cracked and one might be cracked since the potential crack is facing toward the frame. I am not happy, what is my luck if crack rivet is unusual according to Agawa. Again, I contacted and provided Agawa with pictures showing crack rivets of the defective rivets of the replacement new saw. The rivets are essential parts holding the frame; especially when the saw is in use that the rivets will be under tension to keep the saw blade in position. I requested Agawa hand pick another replacement if crack rivet is unusual as Agawa said. Instead of hand pick a replacement, Agawa responded “All of our saws come with a 10 year warranty, so if there are any problems with performance, loosening rivets or tension let us know and we will replace the saw.” The crack/hazard rivet alert is already a hazardous warning since the rivets will be under tension when the saw is being operating. The failure could be catastrophic. Not happy paid full price for quality is worse than a refurbished saw. According to Agawa return item: “You may receive a partial or no refund on used, damaged or materially different returns” –Clearly the same standard/rule is not applied to Agawa.

Great folding saw
lightweight and compacts down to a good size. If you like to camp of bushcraft, I would get this saw or a silky. The agawa and silky use two different cutting techniques so it depends on what you prefer. Made from sturdy material. I can see this saw lasting me for awhile.

Fantastic Folding Saw
Busted up my previous folding saw right before going on a winter camping weekend and got this one just in time before going. It folds out and collapses very easy and it was just as easy to pack and carry. Seriously contemplating picking up the smaller saw from this company as well for my brother-in-law who had a field day using mine.

It makes the cut
Came packaged really well. The saw is well made and sturdy. Took it on a camping trip and had 0 complaints. Will be part of my regular gear. Worth the investment

Only good to save space.
Good for hikeing in with other gear but not as sturdy as an average bow saw.
