I have been taking protein powders my entire life. I switched from whey to this one because as I get older whey upsets my stomach. This protein powder is awesome. I put my scoop on a food scale to measure my servings I grams. The scoop is not a good measurement of how many grams u are getting. I was overconsuming the amount of protein I needed until I started weighing it. Saved me money too.

Updated 12/7/2020 I used to have this on a monthly delivery plan but then it disappeared and became unavailable. When I saw this return I was excited. However, it is not the same product. The product is now overly sweet to the point that I barely want to finish it. The first time I mixed with plain oatmilk and frozen berries and it was too sweet. Then I tried with water and frozen berries and it was still too sweet. I will not be repurchasing. *****original review****** Great product and good value. I'd been using a different brand of plant-based protein powder for years. Decided to try this one as the price was lower and grams of protein higher. In fact, overall amino profile was higher. I like this a lot. It blends fairly well in my Vitamix but not as smooth as desired. Not overly sweet from my perspective.

I’ve been using this protein off and on for over a decade and have always felt great when incorporating it in my diet. I now use it for my kids and feel good about the ingredients. I’ve always enjoyed the taste of both the chocolate and the vanilla.

I'm a vegetarian who has been trying out different protein powders for my smoothies. I got the MRM vegan protein powder in vanilla. Been a vegetarian for almost 20years so I really couldn't tell you how it's taste compares to whey, especially with how many people who have commented saying that veget/vegan have an after taste. If this protein powder has an after taste, I can't tell. Before this, I went through a small tub of Vega, and MRM is 100x better. Compared to Vega protein and others, I would say MRM has been the best so far in both flavor and blending. It is smooth, not overpowering, not clumpy, and blends in very well with my smoothies. Keep in mind that I've been getting vanillas with these different protein powders, so I can't really comment/compare with different flavors. But after having this vanilla, I think I will actually try the cinnamon next. Took a star off only because of the price. I feel like some of these powders, MRM included, are so pricey for what you get? Other than that though, it really is tasty.

The most clean, complete and reasonably priced veggie protein for body builders. This smart protein is the equivalent to whey products, and is a fantastic alternative to whey protein. Whey can cause gas and bloating. This formulation includes Digest-All. I've never gotten gas or bloating from this product. I use this to make delicious green smoothies. Typically, I add coconut oil, a green powder (and/or a leaf or two of collard greens or BroccoLeaf), 1 part unsweetened coconut/almond milk to 1 part water, chia seeds, 1/2 frozen banana, 1/4 frozen avocado, 5 or 6 frozen strawberries, and a handful of frozen blueberries, and BLEND. SMOOTH and DELICIOUS! Takes me 5 minutes including the cleaning the blender. I almost feel guilty thinking I'm drinking a dessert. Unlike the chocolate version (which people love) the vanilla version is a flexible mixer for creating any flavor you want, including adding your own cocoa. People who may complain about taste or chalkiness either don't know what they're doing, or are too lazy to make it right. Too bad, they are missing out on a quality and enjoyable product that's reasonably priced, and good for your health. I recommend this to all my clients who want a good vegan protein to add to their green smoothies.

I was trying to reorder the Veggie Meal Replacement shake. However the listing I reorder from was not available. I clicked on this one, believing it was the same based on the label. I didn't notice that it was labeled differently. I made a shake this morning and found it to be overly sweet and it leaves an aftertaste, in comparison to the meal replacement shake. I could not finish this. I added an image if the ingrediant differences in the two.

This protein is great. Been using it for 9 years now. I remember buying it when it was only $30 lol. Now that it's $40 I'm gonna start looking for another vegan protein option because it's not cost effective anymore at that price range.

I have ordered Veggie Elite protein powder again and again. I also happen know the owner (as a neighbor and friend) and has seen his devout dedication to excellence and clinical trials to make sure what he sells works. As someone with a biological science degree (me) I believe in Veggie Elite thoroughly. I don't just say this because I know the owner. I say this because I truly believe it from my use of and deep research into the product.
