Great cover to keep my hard cover protected looks so perfect and just the right size.

The reason I bought this cap was that my dogs had jumped up on my hot tub and ripped open the cover top and damaged the foam. I was able to use foam from a can to 'sort of' fix the divots in the foam but the cover looked crappy. At $400 to $500 a pop for a new cover I looked for an alternative. This was it! My hot tub cover was 78x78 and this 76x76 cap fit perfectly and I do mean perfectly. The hot tub now looks amazing and I simply do not remove the cap when using the hot tub so no one can tell about my damaged cover. Time will tell if the cap holds up, but I see no real issues here. Eventually I will get a new top, but I now see that I will continue to use this cover so that if my dogs jump up again they will not damage the $400 cover but the $60 cap. Also, one of the big problems with hot tub covers is the sun and weather This should protect it from it from both and prolong the life of the cover.

My hot tub sits in full Arizona sun, so to protect the vinyl hot tub cover, I purchase this cover to go over it - it does a great job. Because of the Arizona sun, it needs replacement every 12-15 months, but it absolutely does what I need it to do - protect my vinyl hot tub cover. Highly recommend it for that purpose.

The hinged cover that came with our hot tub is really coming apart, so this is our second purchase of this cover to extend the life of the original a little longer. Our first Ultcover lasted a couple years, which is pretty good considering our desert-like weather and heat.

We just received this hot tub cover, so I cannot yet rate whether it's water resistant. I'm rating its durability high because it really does seem durable! It was easy to place on and use. I love its look, but more than that, I love how it will stay in place with the high winds in our area. Our last cover constantly came up in the winds and let dirt and rain under it. The elastic never did its job and the entire thing wore quickly. This one comes down far, straps tightly around the sides, and looks and feels so much better! I'm very happy with it overall!
