Better than the expensive similar types
I originally have a wallet style case for my phone, but found at times it was a hinderance. I had talked to some of my friends who bought similar cases for the Z fold. I found so many flaws with the other cases my friends had and figured it was due to the design of the phone. Magnetic interference, scratching of the spine of the phone, inadequate fit and flopping hinge covers is what I had noticed with their expensive cases. For expensive cases, this would be unsatisfactory for me, then I came a cross this case. I needed a case that would protect my phone's spine since it would be the area I would want to protect the most due to its nature. The moment I installed the case I noticed a big difference, for one, it was much slimmer than the covers my friends had on thier phone. The case fit my phone perfectly, allowing not to use any adhesives like the other cases. The hinge cover was securely connected to the case, unlike the other cases where the hinge cover gave way and in some cases scratched the hinge on the phone, and most importantly no magnets to intefere with the inner screen of the phone. Most importantly no gaps in the hinge cover to allow dust in when phone is closed. I also noticed wireless charging is better with this case than my wallet style case.I am quite pleased with this case, the comfort of holding the phone securely (hard rubber) is also a plus. Paying just a fraction of the cost from which my friends paid for their cases, the quality of this case is impecable. My only concern are the wire-like pins that hold the hinges together but aren't expose and I am curious just how long they will last and will they travel out of the hinges. Finding a good case for the Z Fold can be challenging and expensive, but this phone has filled all my expectations and more. My friends are now wanting to purchase this case for their phones.

By far the best case for the z fold 3!
I don’t usually write reviews, but felt the need to share my experience so others can get a good case as well. I have been using this case for about 2 months now and it is the best case up to date that I’ve found for the z fold 3. I tried a few other cases before that were horrible, but this checks all boxes and does it well. This is by far the best one of the lot. The hinge cover actually works! The engineer who designed this deserves a pat on the back. It folds and unfolds well and allows for a good one handed grip when the device is open. It is also a nice solid piece. The front display casing is not too tall on the edges so you can actually type on the edges of your keyboard and I have not had an issue with the double sided tape letting go or it sliding around like some other cases. The side buttons are easily accessible since there is a nice indentation for where your fingers would go to click them. The fit is pretty much spot on around the sides of the phone with no raised edges. The back portion of the case clips on nicely as well. I’ve dropped the phone maybe once or twice onto softer surfaces and the case stayed on well. Now for a couple of very minor negatives - the soft touch coating on the case has started to peel in areas where the case rubs going into your pocket (edges) and it also scratches fairly easily. The hinge cover does trap dust where there is space between the cover and the hinge. Adding a larger padding strip could keep more dust out, but you do have to occasionally blow into the space to clear it out and pop off just the back casing to wipe it clean. Also, the ear piece cutout is pretty deep so it traps dust and needs to be occasionally cleaned with compressed air or equivalent. But even with those minor inconveniences, this case is well worth the money and is probably the only one with an actual hinge cover that functions. Highly recommended!

Huge front bevel is intrusive
I just got the case. It seems durable enough and the fit is fairly secure. The front screen bezel is killing me though. The size of the bezel makes it really difficult to get a downward swipe of the notification bar to register. Maybe over time, I'll get used to it and find the exact way to swipe it without having that problem, but it's annoying considering how often I swipe the notification bar. It's even more difficult for a two finger swipe to register. The hinge cover makes it a little weird to hold. Again, with time I may get used to this, but when unfolded, the hinge piece has some movement to it that scares me, as I think I'm dropping the phone.I had a Samsung case on it previously, and it was way better overall. However, I had a small drop from about 1.5 feet and the Samsung case broke on a corner (the phone was unharmed). I couldn't find the same case now, so went with this one. It's not so bad that I'll return it, but it's not so good that I'd buy it again. It's meh.
