Love how it eases my eye pain and infections. I am supposed to use warm heat on my eye twice a day. This time I ordered a much larger package due to the decreased cost. The first one was used last night but it did not heat up. If this happens again, I will be returning for the 10 unit package.It’s amazing that it gets hot on its own. Due to the average cost of $2.00 each, it’s a luxury item over warm compresses but I do love the simplicity of using them.

I have purchased this item from myeyedr and it works great. But the product I received was dry and would not activate to heat up. I returned one and ordered another. Same with both. I have returned both.

Hi. I have actually ordered 4 boxes. The first one had a few duds but I liked the product and ordered 3 more. 50% of the eye 'patches' were defective. So now I had 3 boxes but thought it was silly to send an equal amount of duds in each box so I incorporated them into 2 boxes. 1 was full the other box was ½ full because only 50% of the patches were defective of the 3 boxes. So you received 1½ boxes of duds. UPS said you would never read my note explaining this so I didn't include it. If you want the other box (now empty of course because those duds were in the 2 boxes I returned I will return it. Amazon is super screwed up right now, it is difficult to see my orders without jumping through hoops. Why change something that is not broken? Navigation of the Amazon site is difficult which I don't understand as contact seller is not available to me. I appreciate that you made these but dont sell them until you have a consistent functioning product. Some were already hardened in the package before opening them, some were way too hot. I hope this clarifies what happened.

I gave this product 3 stars because they do not merit 4 or 5 stars.Each pad comes individually wrapped. All of the preceding reviews are true:- some arrived activated- some are hard to activate because of the positioning of the heating element inside the pad- they turn hard when activated- once activated, it only stays hot for a little over one minute- sometimes they are almost soapy. Sometimes they are somewhat moist.You just don’t know what you are going to get when you take one out of its packet.When a pad does heat up as it should, the warmth is delightful in the morning, but it has been my experience that they cool down too quickly; consequently, I use four pads a day - - one for each eye in the am & pm. Not cost efficient.But I am going to keep giving the box a try to see if they improve my dry eye despite the imperfections. If there is no improvement, i’ll probably have to downgrade to 2 stars.Reviews are helpful, and you really have to try stuff and go with your own opinion.

good soothing

I liked the product itself and purchased the 3 pack of 10, between all 3 packs which was a total of 30 only 2 packs a total of 20 were usable. The other 10 were hard (already activated & not usable) so for the price no thank you, I'm with the other reviewer that stated that a warm washcloth would be more reliable and work just as well.

Recommended by my optometrist. I had been using many different "tears" type eye drops and would get some relief. But this product really delivers and soothes my dry eyes. I use a lot less drops, too. Yes, its an expensive product but my eyesight is worth every penny!!!
