Anthurium 15 Inch Hookaroon with Sharp Spike & Non-slip handle, Pickaroon for Lifting, Dragging, Logging Tool

This thing is great so far for up close work. Saves from bending Alway over. is heavy duty. works on seasoned oak. I have a longer pick but when moving stacked wood, the 15-inch handle works great. I see a few posts were problem with head coming off handle I have not had that problem yet. so, I will be drilling the head and putting in a roll pin if not just a bolt. I would defiantly buy it again. they don't have same tool with 28-inch handle. If they did I would defiantly buy 2- also, on the tip I ground down a small amount Grips better in wood.

Truthfully it is heavier than necessary for it's intended purpose. But the price was right and the weight helps in securing a firm hold first swing every time.

I'm not impressed. I would recommend something different. A little too heavy to be swinging around all day. I would look for a wood handle with thinner/ smaller head.

This is a fairly new purchase, so I don't know for sure how durable it'll be. It has worked well so far.

Works great for moving cut logs around without the need to pick them up with your hands. Well built and sturdy. I do suggest sharpening the tip a bit (just a few strokes with a bastard file). I take this tool with me every time I use a chainsaw or move a log pile.

We cut our firewood to 28-30 inch lengths. This makes it possible to stand the wood up, rather than picking it up.If you have ever used a pickeroon, you will know this is such a good tool.

Nice quality but had to cut and regrind hook tip so it will actually stick in the wood chunks.

I feel the head is a bit too heavy given the fact that it’s got such a sharp point. Not really necessary. overall it seems fine
