This toy is just what my granddaughter wanted. Bright play figures and interactive lights and music. Recommended for all Bluey fans.

On viewing the box our three eldest children (8, 6 and 4) went crazy, they are all obsessed with the show Bluey (and secretly so is mummy and daddy!) so they were really looking forward to unpackaging this to get playing. On opening the box it’s fantastic to see that there is not a single piece of plastic in site (other than the tape used to secured the box) everything is securely placed in cardboard and then some of the accessories are wrapped in individual paper bags. There is a sheet for the instructions and a sheet of stickers. Nowhere could I find any form of instructions or diagram as to where each of the stickers go, I wonder if these are here for children to place in the correct rooms using their own imagination? The house also comes with some stickers pre-stuck which sadly have been appallingly placed either with air bubbles or not stuck down flat so with creases in, not what you’d expect for at item in this price bracket. Why not either stick all the stickers or none at all, then it would at least be down to the user if there was errors made with the stickers? The house was pretty much already assembled other than attaching the two bushes which provide stability for it to stop it from falling whilst in play. The accessories are all made from durable chunky plastic so well suited for toddlers and upward. Quite a lot of the accessories did come with scuffs on, which did later wipe off but again another aspect I wouldn’t be too happy with considering the price range. The house needs x3 AAA batteries, which are not included (something that is another aspect to consider with the pricing) but the sounds and play features once they’re installed are super fun, the kids loved it! The house itself is well made and a very good size, all three of our children could play with it without feeling pushed out or arguing for space. It also folds nicely with the furniture inside which is great for storing. There is a fun dance floor feature that the characters can be placed onto and swizzled around which they all enjoyed recreating the opening scene from the show. I do feel the box is slightly misleading with its depiction of the house set up, it shows the full family from the show plus Blueys cousin… then there is a box which shoes Bluey, Bingo and Chattermax which is in fact the only three characters it comes with. Purchasing other accessories and characters is obviously another aspect to the play and where children can then continue collecting items from the franchise, all at additional (and rather expensive) costs. As a parent I do feel this is exceptionally expensive, as a family we have purchased other big brand items before such as Playmobil and Lego and although people tend to deem these expensive when you look at the amount of accessories, figures and ongoing play value I feel you get a lot more for your money. The quality of this house is great, if your children love the show then the play value will be fun, but the price maybe a little too high in my honest opinion. It will no doubt be the top of lots of childrens Christmas lists and I am sure it will be gratefully received by them so as a parent would then be worth the purchase. Words from my four year old daughter “it’s so fun, I love the music” she has played with it continuously since opening a few hours ago.

When the little ones hear the music at the start of Bluey on TV it is a cue for them to dance wildly until the programme starts and then they settle down to watch. Bluey is one of the most popular programmes for pre-school children and has a great following. Needless to say I was delighted to receive this Bluey House. It opens up to reveal the rooms and comes complete with furniture – table, chairs, beds, settee, bath and toilet. It also comes with three important moveable characters – Bluey, Bingo and Chatterbox. There is a switch to move that gives out the Bluey theme tune and a range of sounds. Three AAA batteries are required for this. There is also a platform with slots for the characters. When a lever is moved they dance. When not in use the house can be folded shut – although you do have to rearrange the furniture before you can do this. A delightful toy that the children adore. However I do query the price – very expensive!

I wasn't aware when I ordered this that Bluey is a TV programme - I only found out when I gave it to the young recipient, who was absolutely delighted with it. Apparently, however, it's on the Disney+ Network...not something that I subscribe to hence not being aware of it. I am told that it's great and a fab rendition of the TV series. There are only three characters with the set, but there are plenty of accessories and the house itself is quite large, so there is plenty of play value here. Whether the current price of £90 is value for money is another question though. It's nice that the house folds up to keep all the pieces together (although I am sure some bits will still get lost). I think any young children who are aware of Bluey will enjoy this toy, and even those who aren't should gain some value from it, but I'd like to see the price somewhat lower.

My daughter is 6 years of age and she loves playing dolls and toys etc. she actually really enjoyed playing with this and she would constantly fill a bath tub with water and make her small dolls have bath etc lol. She plays with it near enough everyday. I hope my review was helpful

My toddler has fun playing with the Bluey house. It is good quality and the sound is good. I like the fact that all the furniture and accessories it comes with can fit inside the house folded up if you rearrange. It does come with a few small pieces so if you are getting this toy for someone that puts things in their mouths I recommend you leave it out.
