I’ve used this product for several years. It cleans my automatic coffeemaker (Oxo) and leaves the thermal carafe very clean. I notice better tasting coffee whenever I use this. Very satisfied.

These packets worked really well. They cleaned my coffee pot, which is metal on the inside. The pot came up super clean afterwards would definitely recommended and buy.

I purchased three different Urnex products, the descaler, the cleaner, and the grinder cleaner "beans." I had purchased these in the past, and was pleased with them. I realized it had been a long time since I did the process on my coffee machine and grinder. I found out how well the cleaner worked after the descaling process. I ran the cleaner through the coffee machine, and saw how brown the resulting water was when it ended up in the coffee pot. The directions are straightforward, you do the initial descaling, empty the water and repeat the process 3 more times with plain water to wash out any residual descaling residue. The cleaning process after the descaling is basically the same directions, so the initial cleaning, plus 3 more times with just water, and you're done, and left with what looks like a brand new coffee machine and better coffee as a result. It's suggested you perform this process every 3 months, or 100 filters. Since we use an extra dark roast (oily beans), the grinder gets quite gunky, so that too, has had a makeover. Now if I can only remember to adhere to the schedule! My suggestion is to purchase these products, especially if you have a really good coffee machine that you want to render great coffee for years.

First time buying a cleaner for my coffee pot. I’ve only been using descaler. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. My coffee pot has a stainless thermal carafe that is hard to clean and it was pretty effective removing the stains. As is the descaler, the price is high not to be pre mixed.

This stuff is amazing. I always use vinegar and thought it was working well. Decided to give this product a try and WOW. The first pot of water was dark brown with some nasty floaties, see picture. The next three were nice and clear. I did the cleaning this morning after making my coffee so IDK if it'll improve the taste of tomorrow's coffee, we'll see. The price seems good for a 3 pack. I'll definitely be purchasing again.

Boughtthis because of a recommendation from America’s test kitchen and they were right that vinegar doesn’t remove all the oil and residue .use this once and the water was brownish. ran through two more pots of water which cleaned it up.

Cleans the coffee build up and stains very well. Have been using this product for years.

My husband has tried other brands for his traveler mug, but only this one works wonderful. It cleans all the coffee debri left inside.

This along with a thousand other variations of a similar product works very well, and for a fairly cheap price. Almost every descaler is a mild acid solution, or powder to make a solution. There is very little difference between one or the other. In the past I have used name brand liquid variations which are of course, extremely convenient . . . but the final cost is way above what this powder costs. A bit of warm water, a little time stirring (or shaking) your concoction . . . and all set. Does a good job, at a very reasonable price. Skip the liquids, skip the designer brands . . . this does just as well.

I learned about this product when I was working for a very popular coffee chain. We used to use this to clean the urns and other metal items. It worked so well that when I needed a coffee maker cleaner, I automatically thought of this product. I purchased this two or three times in the last few years, but I have since found a less expensive alternative which works just as well. I think this is a great product depending on your needs.
