Came today, installed in minutes, just pull one terminal at a time!!!! And I have cold air again!!! I was too hot these last couple days but thanks to this capacitor, I can freeze my juevos off!!

Right part and price, I will save this for later use. I need to fix my hvac on the day it was not working, I go to parts store near me and was charged double.

My air conditioner suddenly stopped blowing cold air, so I checked the outside condenser and saw that the fan wasn’t spinning. That pointed me toward the capacitor. Of course, this happened on a Friday evening, so getting one locally would have meant waiting until Monday after work. I ordered this replacement capacitor on Amazon and it arrived Sunday afternoon. After replacing the old capacitor, the condenser fan started right back up and the AC began blowing cold again. For less than $20, this fixed the problem and saved me from having to call an HVAC technician and potentially spend several hundred dollars. Very happy with the purchase and especially glad it was available for quick weekend delivery.

I bought this thing 9 years ago and it only JUST went out. I’m about to buy another one. The repair guy said we needed a whole new unit, I popped this sucker in there and we’ve been good as gold!

I purchased this in May 2023 to have on hand as a spare. It was installed in May 2024 when the original capacitor on my AC unit failed. I bought another of the same to have on hand. This unit worked fine until it failed on August 28 2025, so just over a year after install. I put the other on and we’ll see how long it lasts. I’ve messaged the seller about a warranty claim. Will update or edit once I see how that goes. Update: Seller promptly sent me a replacement under warranty. Changed my rating to 4 star for good customer service. Although it didn’t last as long as it should have the seller stands by its product.

Out of the box, I measured capacitance to be 44.5uF which is well within the 5% tolerance (98.89% or 1.11% off depending on how you want to view it). I've replaced my existing with a few others and they've always been smaller so it would slip right through the capacitor holding bracket. Those I just left the cap sitting on the platform while it was still inside the bracket. This was sized to the original so I was actually able to use the holding bracket by loosing the screw, inserting this capacitor, then tightening the screw so the capacitor is only held by the bracket and is off the platform. Easily hooked up and fan came right on when I re-inserted the switch at the disconnect. I am hoping it will last the expected 5 years - will try to remember to update this post for when it fails.
