Good product packed with flavor

These canned tomatoes taste pretty good, used them to make sauce and liked the flavor.

These are the WORST canned tomatoes I have ever had (I'm 66 and have had many canned tomatoes). They tasted, over processed and watered down. There was NO tomato taste, no acidity; there was a taste of the aluminum can it came it (of tin), and they were very sweet, like a lot of sugar had been added. I actually threw the remainder of the canned tomatoes away (only 3, but that was still to many to waste, no I wasn't willing to donate), they truly are that bad. I'm not a food snob, though I do know quality whether cheap or pricey. I have had a .99cent can of tomatoes that was far superior to this. My family was not happy with the dish I made, nor would they eat it (they thought the tomatoes were spoiled, yes that bad), I am known to be a really good home cook, this was shameful. I prefer Contadina tomatoes, they are usually so fresh tasting. I will go back to the dice Contadina tomato, with some trepidation. I truly hope this was just a fluke. No I don't recommend the Contadina Crushed Tomatoes in fact I would go as far as to say AVOID these tomatoes.
