I was looking for a guide to learn how to use Excel at its best... I bought many books, but they were all without pictures (but how is it possible to follow tutorials without being able to look at them?!?). The few books that had pictures were of very poor quality, with formulas that didn't work. This book, on the other hand, solved my problems! All the formulas are perfect, the pictures are made with the latest version of excel (some parts are also made for older versions, good choice). It is perfect on both MAC and Windows. At this price it is the best book I could buy. Impossible not to like this book, the author was very clever to include an image for each formula or graph. Very simple for beginners! I highly recommend it

I'm not far enough into the book to comment on more advanced topics it contains, but 40 pages in and I've already encountered multiple grammatical peculiarities and errors in suggested Excel formulae (i.e. =TOTAL(B2... rather than =SUM(B2... ) on page 38). There is no TOTAL function in Excel 365/2022?, don't recall enough about earlier versions. Hoping it gets better otherwise fear I may have been duped by the reviews.

If you want the most updated info on how to use the latest features in Microsoft Excel this is a great option. I found this book to be really easy to understand with all the images it included. I havent really used Excel in a while and I forgot how many different things you can do with it. I'm definitely a visual learner so all the images telling you what to do were so extremely helpful.

The information contained is not well written, organized, or formatted. It's not even good for absolute beginners, as the info is blatantly bad in some cases (e.g. use SUM function with a negative to subtract). Doesn't cover new features like XLOOKUP. Not worth it.

I had to buy 2 more books before I found the right one. A friend of mine recommended this book, but I accidentally got others with a similar cover!!! THIS is the original, full of new and updated pictures. This book has really useful information, it is not just a copy of online blogs!!! this information I could not find online. The other books are mere copies, but this one is really well done. The price is great, it is worth much more! I recommend this book if you are a beginner or if you want to discover new advanced formulas. I will now enjoy surprising my colleagues with formulas that allow me to do my work in half the time! Truly excellent, I recommend it to everyone! The cover is fantastic!!

This is a useful book to reference when using excel and wanting to create macros and formulas. However I do find it's quicker and easier to Google anything I need and use copy paste!

A good little guide to the updated Microsoft Excel

Great product for beginners and novice users. If you’ve used excel for years then most of the content you would know but if you’ve used it for less than 3 years it will give you new useful information.

Microsoft Excel is a program produced by Microsoft that allows us to make calculations (even very complex ones) and to analyze and process data. Infact, in recent years excel has become fundamental, it is used in any office work and an excellent level of mastery is required. This book is a guide that is intended as a complete guide, useful for lightening the workload. It starts with explanations of basic commands up to more difficult and complex commands. Explain all the steps step by step with the most practical and visual photos attached. in addition to this, there are shortcuts and strategies dedicated to increasing work productivity without too much stress. In my opinion, it is a valid manual.

This book is not worth the money. I already have a basic grasp of Excel self taught. Thee are some completely unecessary and overly long pages about what Excel is at the start. Basic, Intermediate and Advancec useage is poorly explained. There are typing mistakes and it’s really poorly printed with extra blank lines here and there. The easy walkthrough tutorials are not great. If someone was a complete beginner this book would be a waste of time in my opinion. I gave it to my partner who is a complete novice who wants to learn excel and they described it as gobbledygook. I’m looking for an alternative and a way to return this book if there is a way to. I’m baffled by the 5 star reviews this book has.
