I am a novice when it comes to floral arrangements. After browsing through some of the styles and techniques out there, I thought the ikebana/kado style is the most appealing to me.When I came across this kit, I was pretty giddy and excited. This set came with the pieces and tools I need to jumpstart so I don't have to find each item separately. Right now, I am practicing with some faux flowers before I commit to using the real ones. The needles are sharp and close together to hold the thick and thin stems, the suction seems adequate and the weight is substantial and helpful to stabilize the holder.This is truly a nice set for beginners to practice and create a simple floral arrangement with.

These “frogs” are great for making things stay where you put them.I should clarify that these are to be used for floral and plant arrangements, not husbands.I am a self-taught flower arranger. I haven’t even done so much as a YouTube video on the subject, so ordering these was a leap of faith. I’m glad I took that leap.These will be especially useful when I need to keep the centers of the arrangements from migrating to areas where I don’t want them. I haven’t found the correct vase or flowers yet, but the practice I’ve gotten has been great.Bottom line: no matter if you are a seasoned floral arranger, or a novice, these frogs will keep your tulips together, your chrysanthemums close, and your roses rounded up. Highly recommended!

Great for putting these in the bottom of a flower vase so that the flowers don’t flip and you can arrange them better. These are high quality made and are nice looking as well. The kit comes with gloves so you can protect your hands since the spikes are very sharp and it also came with some green tape for wrapping flowers, as well as a brush for cleaning the frogs. I’m happy with these frogs and my flower arrangements look much better - almost professional now. I strongly recommend this set if you are looking to have a nicer flower arrangement for a reasonable price.

I really like this set. The variety of sizes are great for different size vases. I make paper flowers and these frogs are are also helpful for holding them up as I work on them. I really like the rubber ring around them. The weight is very good for holding up the flowers. I have used a small one in a vase with a narrow neck and it is holding the flower in perfect position. I don’t need the glove or the little pick, so I can’t speak on them. But I will be getting another set of these when I’ve used these up in other flower arrangements.

You definitely need some putty to hold the frog down but it works great! This is my first arrangement ever using one and I thought it was super easy to use. The spikes are nice and pretty and the tool it comes with the super helpful.

These are high quality frogs. They are sturdy, solid, attractive and well-made. The rubber gasket at the base will hold it in place without scratching the container in which it is placed. Because the needles are so sharp, a pair of gloves is included to protect your fingers. A brush is included to clean the frogs after usage. Very well-done and worth the price.
