Good Value Spotting Scope
Whether you like it or not will vary on what you are using it for and what you've compared it to. I bought this for using at the range and it does work well for that. It is not great for quickly acquiring a target or a subject. It is not great for digiscoping especially with the smart phone adapter. You get a lot of black space through the viewfinder. If you want to compare it to a Swarovski then this is a one star. If you want to compare it to another $200 scope than this is a five star scope. It is a good value scope if you don't have thousands or hundreds to spend on a spotting scope. It performs well for a scope in it's class but if you do use a higher quality optic you will definitely see the difference.

this thing is awesome. the glass is clear
this thing is awesome. the glass is clear, the weight is good, the stand is functional, and for the money can't be beat. i also have another brand that has less magnification than this and it does not even come close to the quality of this device. I have used this for target shooting to 400 yards. may be able to do more depending on target type. i would like to compare this to a high end vortex/nightforce/etc for grins. highly recommended.Well I did get to compare this to a Zen Ray, which is said to be comparable to the Vortex Razor HD spotting scope. When all is said and done this Konus was as good except for two items; 1 the Zen Ray had a wider angle lens for a bit larger field of view, and 2, the Zen Ray was a little more vivid in the colors. But as for sharpness, the Konus was the same and maybe a small bit better. Konus was around $250, Zen Ray was $900 and the Vortex is around $1500. The Konus is awesome for what you get.

Winner with android cell adapter
I am a CMP club member where we shoot up to 600 yds. Many of my club mates has this version. This is nice. I look forward to using the android phone adapter so I can see the target's image with less disturbance to my rifle position! This beats my club mates toys and he with the best toys win!

Awesome for the money!!
For the money this glass rocks! I’m a serious shooter and this picks up paper target holes at 100yards no problem, when checking zero. It is large which is one reason it is so good at gathering light at this price point. As with almost all spotting scopes the included tripod is all but worthless. Put this on a solid pod and you will get the most out of it.

Great Value for the price
Excellent spotting scope for the price. I had a Leupold issued to me from work, and since I recently retired I finally had to spend some money and buy my own. My eyes don’t work as well as they used to (getting old sucks). Scope is very clear at 100 on full magnification. It’s clear at 200 and beyond, but not as good as high end scopes. For the price I think this Konus is a great value.

Excellent scope for the money
Excellent scope for the money, works fine out to two hundred yards. Not quite as good as a Kowa, but those are three times the price!

This scope is awesome. I purchased this to sight in my rifle ...
40 feet from the beach and all kinds of whale watching and sea life. This scope is awesome. I purchased this to sight in my rifle but will use it for so much more. Plus a smart phone mount to take some awesome photos. Worth it!

Great viewing scope for the price
Great viewing scope for the price. The only problem was the cover on the viewing scope. This apparently is put on very tightly at the factory, possibly by machine, as several people mentioned this when we researched it online. We finally got it off with a pipe wrench type tool, and it woks ok now. When replacing on the scope, start with a slight counter clockwise twist, before going to the right to tighten on.
