JDSLABS C5 Headphone Amplifier Black

This is a Great Amp when paired with an iPod Classic. The fit and finish is great, the output is great as is the Battery Life. It has some heft and conveys quality. Great Customer Support as well from JDS Labs. The end plates are not plastic, but rather machined aluminum. Very easy to use, and offers a lot of adjustments and custumization. If you listen to audio on the go a lot the battery life is a plus.

Makes any earphones and headphones sound great, makes good ones sound fantastic. Audio difference in clarity, staging and definition is remarkable. If your serious about head-fi, get this, I've tried the rest and this one is it.

I've had this amp for almost a year now, and LOVE it. Using with 120Gb Classic as source, 100% wav file material. Currently paired with Audio Technica wooden clip-on phones (ATH-EW9), and the sound is AMAZING. Also sounds excellent with Senny HD600 cans, drives them without issue. Battery life is fantastic; I listen 1-2 hours every night, and only charge it a couple times a week. Make sure you also order the rubber "bands" for perfect-fit attachment to your source, if portable use is intended.

this is the portable amp to have. i did my research and this is the best no mater the price. lots of features and a rechargable battery are nice features. well built. jbs labs have a great customer service dept and that helped me to choose this product.
