Maria Nila Color Refresh, 10.1 Fl Oz, Color Bomb, Semi-Permanent Pigments, 100% Vegan & Sulfate/Paraben free

I colored my hair for the first time in over 15 years, usually my go to is a dark auburn, I like reds for my skin tone. I tried a new color, all natural, recommended by a friend and the color was supposed to be dark red. It turned my hair a horrible copper penny color, very light and harsh. I did not want to re-dye and through research found this product, read every single review and ordered. I got the cacao intense as I needed to darken but hopefully keep the red tones. My hair is short, very fine and thin so it didn't take much product. I was nervous about how dark it would be so I diluted with some water, put on damp hair, applied with a toothbrush which worked really well and once saturated combed through. I didn't want to leave on too long, the directions said 3-7 minutes so I did approx. 4, rinsed and conditioned. The results were amazing. I wanted it a bit darker, still had a bit of copper shine so I reapplied but this time did not dilute and I kept is on longer, maybe 5-7 min. I am so amazed by how well this worked. The color came out so good, exactly as I wanted and my hair is super soft. I used Carols Daughter Goddess strength fortifying conditioner after rinsing and my hair looks and feels amazing. I saw many comments in the reviews that said it stained the tub or sink and to be sure to wear gloves but using the toothbrush and comb I didn't need gloves and if any color got in the sink while applying I rinsed right then and no problems at all. The tub is fine as well. I would say do first application on the cautious side, diluted and for a short period and see how it looks as you can reapply if it's not there yet. So happy I found this. In regards to some saying it's expensive, it's really not. The tub will last for many applications especially if you have shorter fine hair like mine. So totally worth it and it saved the day.

I got the cool cream. Just happened to stumble upon it.Context: I have tried every purple shampoo, mask, etc under the sun. Several well known toners have helped, but it’s always a gamble as you never know what you’ll get seeing as there could be a myriad of tones to correct and there is no one size fits all. (Until this.)I’ve had my hair bleached several times, it’s different levels (7-10) all over my head, and has been so difficult to try and make it look like one color due to the varying levels of porosity and lightness. At best, I can get a mostly cool blonde with some orangey spots after using a mixture of purple and blue shampoos in the darker areas. Except it’s usually greenish. Like dishwater.This is it! Who knows how they’ve done it; this is a perfect cool blonde. Friends, it took my train wreck damaged blonde bob and made it all one cohesive color: a beautiful, light, natural looking taupe that shimmers in the light. And it’s very NOT greenish. It’s actually, truly PERFECT. And smells yummy. And doesn’t hurt my hair.I am so glad I can ditch all the other things I’ve tried because I’ve finally found the one. It’s pricey, and it’s not a huge bottle, but trust me when I say JUST GET IT. It’s magical. I am going to save a lot of money on stuff that doesn’t work just subscribing to this.

Especially in the summer sun, my blonde colored hair becomes lighter and washed out. I've tried a variety of color depositing products with minimal results. First try today with cocoa was noticeably darker without looking artificial. I'm hopeful of continuing good results, especially as this product is expensive.

This product truly works! And lasts through at least two shampoos smells great and leaves your hair super soft. I absolutely love this product.!

I purchased the violet color to tint my balayage medium blonde hair. The result day one was vibrant, and after the first wash it faded to the most beautiful mermaid purple blue shade. This faded even more by the second wash and after the third it’s now a turquoise blue. 20 washes later I cannot get the blue out of my highlighted hair. I’ve tried baking soda and vinegar and will next try vitamin C. Even clarifying shampoo won’t fade this completely so beware if you have any bleach in your hair THIS COLOR WILL NOT COME OUT!!!

I was skeptical at first as this is my first time using a product along these lines. Came up as a suggestion while I was looking for something similar to overtone with less chemicals. It was easy to apply to my hair, has a slight cooling effect on the scalp, gave my hair a great naturally black hue without making it look artificial. Great to use if you have black hair and would like to reduce white hairs without having to dye it.

This product is amazing!! Three before photo vs three after. Went from an ugly brassy blonde to a beautiful mushroom brown.I bought gloves to put this product in so my hands wouldn’t stain. After applying all the product and brushed my hair i left it in for 10 mins. When washing I could tell my hair felt so soft than it was before.

I love this stuff. Didn't want to go to the salon all summer for upkeep. The sun and water faded my colour but I used this with everywash and it kept my colour looking fresh and shiny.

I gave it 5 stars because it really works but...use lightly. It turned my aubern hair pinky red after 4 minutes left in. Nice shine, soft and smooth.

I love this brand & this colour did not disappoint 💖 It does take a little extra scrubbing to get it out of your hair but it's worth it 💙 The only thing I don't like is that you'll only be a third of the way through the bottle before you have to start really shaking it to get it out

I never write reviews but I had to for this! My red hair always fades so quickly I’ve thought about giving up on it. One use of this every two weeks keeps my colour perfect until it’s time to colour the roots again. Amazing!

It’s my third bottle, it takes time to show the result but it gives a nice colour and removes the brass lights and smothering hair and the bottle is small but it lasts so long..
