Works fine for a basic unit
I was a bit nervous about buying this unit, being significantly cheaper than average and having a coupon, but it turns out it was worth it. The item and display are exactly as pictured. It's very simple to operate - hold the power button for more than a second, and it turns on. It's basic, and works fine - would buy again.Pros- Simple Operation- Easy to read- Has a battery- Backlit displayCons- Sensors effected by heat from circuitry- Light level not adjustable- Fixed display- Basic (no connectivity, but I knew this when I bought it.)Quick initial testsWhen first turning it on, it showed 440ppm for about a minute. I had it sitting directly in front of my face as I was reading the instructions. Then it started beeping, the red quadrant flashed, and it showed a high level around 1600ppm! I moved it away from me, and the level slowly decreased back to the ambient level of around 450ppm. A quick test of holding my breath for many seconds then slowly blowing towards the back of the unit caused an expected rise in the level. So an uncalibrated source, I can see that there is some variation that might actually be CO2 levels.UseThe "TEMP" indicator is C by default. A short tap of the power button toggles between F and C. The temp indicator seems to be influenced by the internal circuitry, so it'll read a bit high when charging. The "HUMI" indicator changes, but I can't tell how accurate it is. Moist air from exhaling will increase the reading. It's currently indicating 29% in my moderately air conditioned house, which I suspect is lower than the actual RH. It might also be affected by the heat given off by the charge circuit. The initial battery reading was 2 bars (of 3 max). I operated it for about 15 minutes before plugging it in to charge. So, at least it's not dead out of the box. Plugging it in, the battery indicator shows that charging is occurring, but does not seem to show the actual progress/state of charge.Overall, I'm pretty happy with this value item. As I continue to use it, if there are any issues, I'll update this review.

Does not work
When I turn it on it requires 440 and the jumps to 5000.
