Q: How does this attach to the mill? Does it replace the flywheel? The adapter looks different than the flywheel attachment point

You remove the flywheel and shaft key. the other side you can't see is a socket with a ridge the engages the key slot is the shaft. I used a 1/2" corded drill rated at 10 amps and it didn't work so well. It was hard to get started and control the speed. a bigger drill might work better, but will be harder to control. I'll sell you mine if you want to try it and save a few bucks.
