This Wera magnetizer/demagnetizer earns a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars from me. I'm impressed with its ability to effectively magnetize screwdriver bits, especially considering its reasonable price point and user-friendly design.Pros:Strong Magnetization: This tool delivered powerful magnetization, ensuring screws clung securely to my bits, making even fiddly jobs a breeze.Affordable Price: Compared to other magnetizers, this Wera option offered great value for the money.Convenient Design: The compact size and simple operation made it easy to magnetize bits quickly and efficiently, saving me valuable time.

I needed to magnetise some 25mm hex screwdriver bits, for use when assembling PCs where access is often poor and dropping a small screw problematic. This does the job.The instructions are poor, inasmuch as they do not indicate how many times you need to perform the action in order to achieve the effect. There is also no indication of how long the magnetised bits will retain their magnetism. Additionally, it does not say whether using the device for longer will achieve a stronger magnetic effect on the bits.From what I can tell, so far, the answer is that you only need to do it a few times and that there is no additional benefit should you do it loads more.The overall strength of the magnetism achieved on the bits is just about enough to hold the small screws used inside PCs.

It magnifies and demagnifies ferrous metals. Very handy, small size and quality seems sound so far.

It's a cute little thing. Very lightweight since it's basically two pieces of magnet glued together in two pieces of plastic. Plastic doesn't feel cheap, your usual industrial-grade-like plastic. Shape reminds of their screwdriver's handles. Does the job extremely well - both magnetizing and demagnetizing. Move along the black/green side to magnetize, move along the bottom to demagnetize. Simple, efficient and cheap. A must have for anyone working with electronics.Highly recommend.

I’ve used this to magnetized screwdrivers, drill, bits, screws, it seems like so many things. Allen wrench, anything that I can magnetize and it works. I really didn’t think it was gonna demagnetize very well, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly that part works as well. It gives you two ways to demagnetize. The whole at one end and then an intention on the other end. Magnetizing, it only takes a few swipes back-and-forth and whatever you’re trying to magnetize is magnetized and really well. I magnetized that screwdriver and I could immediately pick up a lot of screws that were able to be picked up by magnet. I immediately stuck the screwdriver through the hole at the top and went back-and-forth two or three times and then tried to pick up the same screws and it only picked up a few because the screws themselves were magnetized not because the screwdriver was. So I got a new set of screws that hadn’t been magnetized and I tried it again to run the screwdriver through the demagnetizer just twice, and it would not pick up a single screw. It really comes in handy and it works extremely well.. So the size fits in your hand and it’s not too heavy, but you can tell it’s good quality.

What an amazing addition to my workshop. Very helpful being able to magnetize or demagnetize tools such as screwdrivers etc. Looking forward to seeing more tools like this in the future. We are living in remarkable times.
