Nice to find a good ole fashioned light bulb. Got very tired of comparing K values and lumens and "25 watt equivalent" alternatives. It's all bull on them. You either feel blinded or like you have a 10 cent flashlight. These work well, and last quite a while.

Really, Amazon? You're delivering GLASS when you deliver light bulbs, in case you're not aware that light bulbs are FRAGILE. No markings on the box to indicate fragile items. These arrived with a broken bulb that had shards of glass so small that they penetrated every square inch of the rest of the boxes of bulbs inside the bigger box. What a mess I had to go through to salvage the rest of the bulbs without cutting myself. As for the bulbs themselves, they appear to work fine and give off nice, warm, incandescent light. It's a shame the Amazon people broke one. Expect broken light bulbs if ordering through Amazon, as this was one of 2 light bulb orders that arrived broken for me. Not worth the hassle of returning because I need these bulbs, and the same thing will likely happen again.

Worked for what I was using it for. I use it to keep my baby chicks warm. I put it in a terracotta pot with a tile on top. That way the chicks can cuddle it like a mama hen. And they can go to sleep in the night with no light over them. When you do this they actually go to sleep and get quiet at night. Especially important for me when they live in my house, and close to my bedroom at night. I also use it as a light over the top during the daytime, and it's on a timer to shut off at night. I cover and uncover the brooder with a towel to adjust the temperature as needed. I've recently bought a brooder plate, and I like that a lot. But I've used this pot method for about 15 years and it works great! One difference I've noticed about the terracotta pot vs the brooder plate is that I can see the chicks better with the pot. So I can watch for poo butt, sick or odd looking chicks, or anyone who needs help. And I can just see and enjoy my babies more when I can see them. These were nice bulbs for the price. They are incandescent which personally I favor over LEDs, which I needed the heat in my case anyway. Also, they have a nice warm glow. They are also white, so you can't see through them and they don't pierce your eyes. I'm now using one over our new rat cage. So far none have burned out. I like them!

I didn't realize these bulbs would be so dim, but that's my fault for not really paying attention to the wattage or lumens - I was just so excited to find an incandescent bulb. So I'll be searching for brighter ones. That aside, the color tone of light these put out is warm and inviting. I just bought them, so I can't speak to the longevity yet.

I bought these because my dining room ceiling fan has 4 light bulbs and a 4 click feature. Click 1 turns on one pair, click 2 turns on second pair, click 3 turns on both pairs, and click 4 turns off. So we installed 1600 lumen, 3000 Kelvin LED bulbs in the first pair, and these in the 2nd pair. These cast a nice warm glow for dinner that gets you to relax, because it doesn't have the blue light of an LED. The effect is so stark that we can't use them before dinner because we will fall asleep. Definitely great if you want to fix your circadian with some low lumen incandescent bulbs for evening light. The light color is not as orange as a literal candle, but definitely oranger than a 2700K LED.

Great for nightstands! Gives enough light to read a book before going to sleep. Light is smooth and not flickering. Color is very natural, not white. Great quality, would buy again.

One of the two bulbs did not work. The filament was broken. The bulbs do not dim either.

As expected. Good soft light that isn’t too white. Looks as you would expect and has solid output, no flickering. Hard to find incandescent bulbs like these anymore. Would definitely buy again

Im very light sensitive & frankly, Ive yet to find an LED bulb that's dim enough. My new bathroom has the newer fixtures that take 2 bulbs & uses posts rather than screw-in bulbs so 1st I had to find adapters (found on Amazon!). I tried to find 25watt bulbs locally but couldnt locate any, so I went back to Amazon where I finally found exactly what I needed!
