ROCK ON!!!!!!
So i am super glad i bought this. This DVD will definitly stay in my collection for a while. It is great! It shows REM's different varieties. REM is my favorite band, and this DVD just makes my life complete. Not to mention MICHAEL STIPE IS THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE!!!! So if you love REM and love Michael, then this is for you.The only thing is, is that, it is missing some really good songs. Such as "shiny happy people", "drive" and many more. They may have not been their biggest hits, but they are just too good to be un-noticed.Besides that...GET IT!.Note: We need to persuade these amazon people to get futage of REM on unplugged. WHAT'S THE DEAL?!

obviously for REM fans only
In a vast, and eclectic collection of REM's greatest hits, the videos emote what REM has stood for all these years. The music. Though fully formed thoughts that went into videos like "bad Day" and "imitation of Life" balance well against the morning and lathargic feel of "E-bow the Letter", "Nightswimming" and "At my Most Beautiful". Balancing this video emotional roller coaster is revitalizing songs like "All the Way to Reno" and "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?". In all this collection has something for every music lover....more so for the REM fan

A must have for the collector!
This DVD is a must have for the collector! It doesn't have EVERY video of theirs on it, however, so you will need to supplement your collection with titles such as "This Film is On", "When the Light is Mine", etc. Anyway, this DVD really showcases their career and though their musical style was ever changing, they still had that core REM-ness to their music.Really love the commentary (wish all their "video" DVDs had that!) and of course the live bonus footage.Think my favorite videos of all time are Bad Day and Losing My Religion.

R.E.M rocks!
R.E.M has done a great job putting this DVD Video Collection together. DVD feathers all the videos, plus 6 bonus ones and 3 live appearances. The audio and video quality is simply the best, featuring DTS 5.1, the best sound quality available nowadays.Just want to say REM thank you for giving us such a great opportunity to view your works in a perfect way.I really hope artists like Tina Turner, Aerosmith and Madonna will also release their video collections in DTS 5.1 Audio option, instead of cheap PCM Stereo.Without any hesitation, I advise you all to get this DVD.Greetings from sunny Azerbaijan!

A Lot of Bad Songs
This DVD contains some of the videos made during R.E.M.'s period with Warner Brothers. The technical quality of the DVD is quite good but over three-quarters of the songs on this DVD are bad songs. I think Bad Day, Man on the Moon, Everybody Hurts, Losing My Religion, Stand, and Orange Crush are all good to great songs, and What's the Frequency Kenneth is a decent song. Unfortunately, the rest of the DVD is album filler.Prior to buying this DVD, I would have never expected the equivalent of a "best of" album made by R.E.M. to have so many bad songs on it. I want my money back and I advise everyone else to buy something other than this DVD.

Great DVD but it does not play in all players
Great DVD but it does not play in all players. It is a disc meant for sale in China.you can program laptop or DVD player to play it but it's a hassle.

Absolute classics
REM have always been a bit onnthe quirky side, certainly in their personalities, definetly in their lyrics, but no more so than in the videos. Compiled in reverse chronological order, starting with Bad Day, and moving back through the last 15 years to Stand, each one is an absolute treat and it's own little trip down memory lane. Stipe's haircuts at the end of the eighties are beautifully captured as only DVD can. As are the classic moments such as the shaven-headed unveiling in What's the Frequency Kenneth? and the uplifting motorway walkout of Everybody Hurts. But the best bit is far and away the 3 tracks from the Nelson Mandela tribute in Trafalgar Square in 2001. This was the eopsiode when Peter Buck got arrested for rock-star behaviour on the 747 over here - but God it was worth it! Ram packed with fans, the square all lit up and looking better than ever, and Man on the Moon wowing everybody. Turn it up, pack all your mates into your living room and re-create the experience over and over again. yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
