Update Review on 10/12/2019:Well it has been less than two years and three of the four bulbs have died! So much for being a bargain. These large integrated-LED bulbs are too expensive for their fragility and low lifespan.My take - do not order these large bulbs.[End of 10/12/2019 Update]My initial take = 5-stars.I did a lot of comparison shopping on Amazon before purchasing these bulbs as opposed to some similarly shaped bulbs that were more expensive. The alternatives offered more lumens - 4500 vs. this product's 2650 lumens. Also the alternatives had a slightly warmer tone/temperature (4000k to 5000k) compared to this product's 6000k specification. The manufacturers pictures show these bulbs being used for a portrait studio (umbrella) so I feared the light might be less diffuse and a little too directional for my needs. My goal was to light up a three-car garage with a 10-foot ceiling, and two bare light sockets that only had a couple of 100 watt bulbs in them. The other room - a large basement store room - has the same setup (two light sockets) and a 9-foot ceiling.So I had qualms about the lumens, the temperature, and the directionality of the bulb. Ultimately, it came down to penny-pinching, as these bulbs were the most affordable. Well, I must say that the lumens are more than sufficient to lightup the entire garage. Ditto with the basement store room. The temperature of the light is just fine. It seems much like sunlight without the weird greenish hue that some "daylight" LEDs have. There may be a slight bluish tint to the light, its hard to tell. The directionality of the light is perfect as the bulbs shine down and to the sides, with little or no loss upward.At this point, I am glad that I did not order the more expensive and brighter lights, as they would probably be more appropriate for a large, very high-ceiling, warehouse (think the big box club stores). The more expensive bulbs would probably have been too bright for the areas I am lighting. Keep in mind that these bulbs and the similar alternatives are NOT dimmable. The lack of dimmability seems to be the case with a lot of the high watt-equivalent LED bulbs. Also take note that both of my applications were in simple, bare, light sockets. These bulbs were not in recessed enclosures, nor did they have a reflector above them.The only odd behavior from the bulbs were in the basement store room. Flicking the switch on results in a 1-second delay before the lights come on. Not so with the garage. So I suspect the circuit or wiring. I will have to look into it.Overall, I think this product is a good value and works well for the applications I described. Longevity? Only time will tell.

The health inspector required me to replace existing lamps with shatter-proof bulbs in a food processing area. The room is about 1,000 square feet with 12 fixtures on the ceiling at 11 feet off the floor. These at least doubled the light intensity over the previous CFL lamps. The light is somewhat greenish in tone, and unkind to the human face, but for a work area it's perfect. I plan to add them to other parts of the facility as well.One year later, 9 out of 12 have burned out. I reduced the rating to one star. Don't buy these!

I put 8 of these in a poll shed that was using 75 watt equivalent LEDs and it is much brighter now. Only been installed for a couple weeks, so I can't speak to the longevity of the bulb. They are about double the size of a standard a19 bulb, so take that into account if you are putting them behind an enclosure. I wouldn't call them instant on as it takes a second or two to turn on compared to the LED's they are replacing, but not a big deal for the shed. Overall a great buy for the price provided they last the 15000 hour expectancy.

what i like the most is they are very bright, in my garage, but what i liked they least is that in 4 months 3 of they burnt out.

Daylight version of this bulb extremely bright. Not recommended for eye level applications such as a table lamp without a shade. With a shade is okay. Overhead is okay. Fits table lamp with harp (wire frame) Construction, though barely.

We used these bulbs in our dock lights at our warehouse. They replaced the spot lights that we were using and are shatter proof so they comply with our Food Safety Audits.

I placed an order for these ETP31's and installed 13 in our church sanctuary. They work well, but we are no where close to the 15,000 hrs. I already have 5 of the 13 out which requires a ladder and scaffolding to reach. Unless the warranty is excellent, I can't recommend this product based on the short life span. The CFL's I replaced far outlasted these bulbs. UPDATE: Eachpole, the vendor that sold these bulbs said that since they couldn't verify the length of time they had been used in our Church Sanctuary (even though I told them the bulbs had less than 500 hours of use), they wouldn't replace theses units. I wouldn't recommend them or the vendor to anyone based on either of their performance. I will likely not order this type item again on Amazon, but will likely order them locally due to warranty issues.

These are great lights for a shed or garage.
