The previous brand opener (that rhymes with "Beanie") that came with our house was absolute junk.This one is GREAT!

ASONPAO Keypad for GK-R GK-BX GWKPD-BL OKP-BX Intellicode, good price, works great, 2 AA batteries
Once I watched the 1:28 minutes ASONPAO GK-BX/GK-R/OKP-BX Intellicode Wireless Keypad videos on the Amazon order page, it took 1 minute and 1 try to get the Keypad to connect and work with our garage door opener Genie Model 7155D Aladdin Connect. This uses 2 AA batteries.The two side one sheet instruction has everything but it was difficult to understand what they are saying. Basically, for new keypad, first program the keypad with your 4 digit code first, then do the steps to link the keypad to the garage door opener. Do these two things while you are holding the keypad next to the garage door opener. Once the keypad working, then take it outside and mount it outside of your garage.

needs batteries replaced about every 4 days
works well for a few days before the batteries need replaced. have tried many different brands of alkaline - and multiple types of ni-mh rechargeables. works for a couple days at best before batteries are dead.

Excellent replacement, excellent build.
This is an excellent replacement. (The R in GK-R designates the replacement).The item is well manufactured. There was for me a problem that was overcome after about 12 attempts to reprogram the keyboard. After that, the keypad functioned flawlessly. Reprogramming the Car Remote was very easy.

Much better quality than the original OEM at a better price point. Exact same dimensions so install is a snap. Would but again.

Easy to program and same as Genuine Genie
The hardest part to programming this was pairing it to my door opener. It took me forever to figure out where the pairing button on the garage door opener was. Once I did, pairing it took 60 seconds. This unit looks exactly like my genuine Genie unit that it replaced. The only difference is that the Genie logo is missing from the cover. I also noted that the key back lights are much bluer and brighter than the original. I love that. I couldn't even see the key lights in the daytime....it could be that the old unit was about ten or so years old. So far, I am extremely happy with this remote and if it lasts as long as the old one, I will still be happy. It cost about 20% less than the original.
