DERMA E Natural Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Baby (4oz) [Packaging May Vary]

This is a great sunscreen but each time I order, its out of date. Non returnable. I tried reaching customer service (nonexistent apparently) to no avail. Come on Amazon, you're better than this!

While taking the product out of it's box, I realized that the sticker was peeling a bit off the tube. I decided to peel the sticker off, which happens to be the design with the product name itself. I've never seen something like this, where the outside sticker can peel so easily off the item. Underneath the sticker is just any regular white plastic tube, making me wonder the authenticity of the product. Is this just a white tube with an unknown type of lotion inside, with a generic sticker slapped on the outside of it??? I'm a bit worried now, especially reading the reviews after buying this product and seeing that this item is non-refundable. I need to make it a habit to read the reviews before purchasing. I wish I could give 2.5 stars, but since I have not opened and used this product yet, 3 is the fairest in this particular situation. However, fingers crossed that this is the real deal though. Deep breath and a sigh.....

I love that this has high zinc oxide content and is good for sensitive skin (including fungal acne). It goes on like a dream both feelings and looks wise. But it kept pulling and looking not nice on my skin. Maybe for someone who doesn't need/use as much moisturizer or who has a different skin type, it would work great. In the mean time, I'm going to use up the rest on my body.This is a common problem for me (I can't use chemical sunscreens on my face) so I only took off one star. In case it's useful for anyone, the one that works best for me so far is the Neutrogena sheer zinc dry touch. It's not as pleasant and easy going on but once its on it stays on without pulling, at least for me.

I wanted to love this as it contains the recommended 20% zinc oxide for effective protection against UVA rays. It doesn’t leave a white cast if you apply thinly enough, and the consistency isn’t as thick as other zinc oxide lotions - in fact, it initially felt a lot like a similar (more expensive) product by Drunk Elephant. However, applying the health council’s recommended 1/4 teaspoon on your face is a challenge as the formula doesn’t apply evenly (streaking), especially after trying to blend it in for 20-30 seconds. Once you’re done, wait one minute, if you touch your face at all, the sunscreen instantly pills and flakes off. Not super professional looking for the office. The pills and flakes stick like crazy to your still-somewhat-tacky skin and are impossible to brush off without creating an avalanche of even more pilling. I had to simply wash my face and start over. Definitely forget putting any makeup on over this. I found it difficult to work with just by itself.I’ll use this up on my neck and arms only since it’s not returnable.Aside: the label almost completely delaminated from the plastic tubing right out of the box, which was odd. Poor quality control from this brand.Two stars instead of one because it does have the 20% zinc.

I have sensitive skin and finding a sunscreen that doesn’t break me out, irritate or feel heavy on my skin has been difficult. I ordered this sunscreen a few months ago and have been using it daily since. While I love this brand, the ingredients and how gentle it is. I find that it leaves a greasy looking shine on my face. However it’s not actually making my skin greasy it’s just a shine that appears greasy. I love the ingredients, chamomile extract and vitamin e are amazing for the skin. When I finish this bottle I will try the oil free one for the face, instead of this one for babies. Absolutely love this brand and this sunscreen is amazing besides the greasy looking shine it gives my skin! Hasn’t irritated me or broken me out!

Before I bought this product I was using La Roche Posay's Anthelios suncreen, which overall is very good, but pilled and balled up little under my makeup. So I've been trying to find another one that did not do that. I was encouraged by the reviews on Derma E's baby formula, but was extremely disappointed when I tried it out. This sunscreen pilled and balled on my face worse than any other sunscreen I've tried. I could barely even spread it out on my face because it just breaks up and pills before I can even spread it out from my cheek to my chin. Needless to say, trying to put make up over it is very difficult. It also leaves a white cast and just did not sit well on my face at all. For reference I am extremely pale, 21, and have normal/combo skin. I feel like this sunscreen probably works well for actual babies and infants that don't use any other skin products over or under, but for anyone looking for a good face sunscreen that sits well under makeup or spreads over your face well, I do NOT recommend this product.

I recently had a fast spreading cancer inside of my ear flap and had MOHS surgery to remove. Dr. said it was definitely caused by repeated exposure to the sun. They performed a skin graft with skin from the under side of my arm which has hardly had sun exposure and I was cautioned to use a sunscreen with at least 20% zinc at all times to protect the new skin and really should use that zinc sunscreen all over my face, neck and ears. I have tried multiple sunscreens that fit the criteria. They were all very thick, difficult to rub in and difficult to wash off. I heard about Derma E from another Dermatologist and ordered this product. Truly amazed at how easy it goes in and easy to remove at night. My wife and daughter tried it and have decided to start using this product. I am very happy to finally find a high concentration zinc product that applies so easily. Hardly any white tint when rubbed in and you do not have to apply very much.

I cannot get this to work for me, it pills up no matter how I apply it, to a clean face , over moisturiser ,over make up, trying to pat it in, or rub it in for ages. it doesn't matter I end up looking like I have white bits stuck to my face.

Bisher großer Fan der Gesichtscreme an der Derma E: Natural Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 habe ich diese Version ausprobieren wollen, da günstiger bzw. mehr Inhalt als in der Gesichtscreme. Leider krümelt diese Baby-Creme aber sehr, wenn man sie über einer regulären Gesichtscreme aufträgt. Überall weiße Krümel. In den Augenbrauen, dem Haaransatz am Hals. Keine gute Basis für ein Make-up. Babiesbzw. die Eltern von den kleinen Nutzern mag das weniger stören, bei mir wird dieses Ergebnis allerdings dafür sorgen, dass ich sie nicht mehr nachkaufe ...

I have used a number of sun products to protect my sensitive facial skin in the sun. In every case, I have stinging or a rash. I am delighted that I can use this product on my face without any irritation at all. I apply it under my makeup daily. It isn't greasy or flaky.

So far ok. No white marks and easy to apply and absorbs well. Only downside, only factor 30 when I wanted f50

Die Sonnencreme ist sehr leicht auf den Fingern beim Auftragen, auch sehr angenehm auf dem Gesicht. Gar nicht dick. Am Anfang glänzt das Gesicht, ist auch ein wenig klebrig, doch nach zwei, drei Minuten hat die Haut die ganze Creme eingesaugt. Auf dem Gesicht ist auch keine weiße Schicht zu sehen. Finde die Sonnencreme super, vorallem wegen dem vielen Zink!!! Werde es wieder kaufen, da ich jeden Tag Sonnencreme auftrage. 365 Tage!!!
