Works as advertised

I use these for the rare occasion when I need a longer HDMI but cant rerun whats there or just don't have the proper length.I do recommend using heat shrink to keep the cable from unplugging, electrical tape is a second choice if you don't have heat shrink. These should only be used as a last resort, it's always best to use 1 continuous cable whenever possible. That being said, I have used these on several occasions without issue even with 4K sources.

You can never have too many of these adapters. Very handy.

Great quality

I had a lot of extra HDMI cables around 6', but needed a couple longer ones for setting up some new TVs. I didn't want to purchase additional cables, so I got these connectors to link the extra cables I already have together.I was planning to tape the connections, to make sure they don't disconnect, but honestly these have such a snug fit I was pretty confident that they are not going to disconnect.I am not running anything like 4k 60hz or 3D through them, so I can't speak to how well they carry those signals. With my 1080p applications I don't see any issues.

As a video DJ I try to stay prepared for most situations. These couplers came in handy sometimes when a venue left me an hdmi wire into their system but it was too short. I have some in each bag and some in my vehicle. They’re an awesome deal at this price.
