Will an insulated hose fit in the clip?

Are these what people call “nipple magnets”?

Not sure about that, but the picture represents the product accurately. this magnet system works very well, holds very securely and more or less self aligns to store the tube. I would buy again for certain.

Does this work for the mil spec camekbak?

Yes, but tight if it’s an insulated tube

This clip slides on my hose. Can I purchase a larger diameter hose that will work with this clip?

No, could barely get it over a camelbak tube with insulated strap. My advice is to by S-ring clips and use on hooks on your camelbak to keep hose in a neater position
