Accuracy:I tested the accuracy by weighing 5 diffrrent 500gm blocks of butter. They all weighed between 504 and 507 grams (see photo 1). I then weighed a wrapper by itself. It was 6 grams (see photo 2). I conclude that the scales are very accurate..Adjustable Auto Off Time:This function is the prime reason I purchased this model, as I hate how most models auto turn off after 1 minute while you are still in the process of weighing. The included paper instructions makes no mention of it, but the online description state how to invoke it. Here's my full instructions. Press the 'Unit' button for 2 seconds. It will display the last saved value of 0 (doesn't auto turn off, you must do so manually),180 (3 minutes), 900 (15 minutes) or 1800 (30 minutes). Press the on/off button to cycle through the four options until you settle at your desired time period. Press 'Unit' and it will display "Pass" to confirm it has saved the option.Form Factor:The unit has a very low profile and a large single flat weighing platform, which is easy to clean, as there are no crevices etc for food to lodge. The scales feel very light, and are obviously plastic, but the unit feels compact and solid, not flimsy. The LCD is large and bright and easily read from all angles.In summary, these scales are easy to use, accurate, easy to clean and easy to setup the adjustable auto off funtion. The price is fine. I recommend these scales.
