Q: Does it work with Slate roof tile ?

Doubtful. You need to slide one side of the clip under the shingle and need a surface that has sufficient friction to hold in place. I would worry that slate will be too thick and will not provide the surface to hold the clips in place.

It depends on the exact type of metal roof you have. If you have a standing seam roof, you should use an S5 roof clamp with an attached SR-S5 clip. We sell both on Amazon. If you have a corrugated metal roof, you may be able to buy a tradition nail on roof clip and use adhesive to bond them to the roof. You can always call us to ask questions at 877-387-4218.
