Logitech G Astro A10 Gen 2 Cross-Platform Wired Gaming Headset - Grey

I had an old Astro headset just like this one and needed a replacement after it finally came apart after so many years. I love this Astro headset in particular. It’s super comfy, fits my head perfectly, is adjustable, is lightweight, and has alright noise cancelling (quiet noises are hard to hear with these one but I can easily hear something loud like people talking or cars outside, just muffled) and the audio from whatever you’re using this on is super clear as well. The cord length is another plus as this headset gives a moderate amount of length. I use this headset on my PC and it doesn’t give me a hassle to have this be the default audio output device. I never use the mics on these headsets so I can’t provide feedback on their mic quality. One thing I really love about this headset too is how durable it is. I had my last Astro headset last about 4 years! The only thing I had to replace about it was the cable, which another pro about Astro is that everything is replaceable, I don’t have to buy an entire headset outright if something breaks. Overall, I love Astro headsets and I am very happy with my purchase.

I wanted a good Astro headset but I couldn’t afford the newer models, so I took a chance on these and I didn’t regret it. I used to have a20’s and they lasted for two years so I wanted another Astro headset. These are great for the price. The mic has good sound quality and cancels out background noise extremely well. The mic isn’t pitchy or sensitive at all and isn’t easily damageable. You can even eat on mic if you put it farther away from your face and your mic won’t pick it up, which is great because I’m a snacker and I hate flipping my mic up and down while I’m snacking because people keep talking to me lol. It won’t pick up on fans or people that are near you or any of those type of noises. It also has good surround sound and good sound quality. I’m able to hear footsteps and movement really well in game, and I can still hear my friends well without the game and voice sounds colliding and overlapping each other. It is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, but my only warning is to people with bigger heads because the adjustment doesn’t have a great range. It is wired, and I had the hardest time figuring out what was wrong with it at first because I wasn’t hearing the sound, and I went on Reddit and found the answer. So a PSA to all of you, make sure you click the cord that goes into the headset all the way in, otherwise you won’t hear sound. You’ll have to push it in with a bit of force, then you’ll hear a click sound and it should work. Overall, great purchase and would buy again.

I bought a set for myself because my bf has a set that has lasted him years now however the mic on mine became loose after about 2 months. So thinking it was just a flaw or I broke it somehow (I wasn’t being super cautious on how I was treating them)I bought another one in a different color and in about a week A WEEK (after being extremely cautious with them) the same thing the mic started to become loose and then very loose but this time the mic stoped working entirely. The only thing I can think of for my bfs working for so long is he got his directly from GameStop not Amazon. Really sucks because I know it’s a good headset the mic is just very flawed, maybe you just have to get lucky but it’s not worth it because you might get a broken set

I bought these because my last set of headphones (with like 5 or so years of usage) needed to be replaced and honestly I’m a bit torn on these. The audio is pretty good just the audio mixing is a bit weird. I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. I probably have to get used to it because I haven’t used a different headset other than the last one I had. The other thing is that these are said to be “over the ear” but to me these are on the ear and I don’t really like that. Unless I’m supposed to have extremely small ears I really can’t see how these are over the ear.

I bought these headphones at the recommendation of a friend. I chose to buy these headphones because they were cheap, functional, and looked decent with my sleeper build PC setup. I went from the Razer Kraken Ultimate to these, and I want to talk a little bit about my experience from the perspective of someone who cares most about audio quality, comfort, and experience, with a brief note at the end about the aesthetics. In terms of audio quality, you're getting about what you pay for. These headphones are around $50, and they feel like $50 headphones. The audio quality will be better than most cheap earbuds, but is easily outclassed by other headphones in the sub $100 range. In terms of how they compare to the Kraken, it's similar but slightly different. The mids on the Astro A10 is slightly better, but the bass is slightly worse. If you look them up on rtings, you can see what I mean visually, but bass doesn't sound as deep on the A10. To compare, I listened to a couple of songs I know by heart back to back with the two headphones, then swapped the headphones back and forth to pick out the finer details. To talk a bit about comfort, these headphones are *not* over the ear headphones, and using them as such will lead to discomfort and pain after around about an hour. To put on the headphones, you need to make sure your ear slides under the cup and into the grove. Once there, it's fairly comfortable, as there isn't much clamping force on your head and it feels padded enough. I can wear these headphones in this way for an entire day (+/- 7 hours) without noticing any discomfort. These headphones do not have any bells or whistles with them. They are packed inside a mostly empty box with a pretty basic manual, though the company does provide an aux splitter if your computer requires the sound input and sound output to be spread across 2 3.5mm jacks. These are plastic headphones, and while the plastic does look and feel premium enough, they likely cannot sustain multiple falls and will likely start to show grease marks over time if not properly cleaned. These do not have noise canceling, or even a functional mute, as far as I can tell. Although every online guide will tell you to simply point the mic up to mute your headset, this does not work at all (more on this later). The cable is removeable, which is a massive improvement over my old Kraken Ultimate, but that isn't saying much. To touch briefly on aesthetics, just because I find it interesting, the main color of this headset is an almost perfect color match for an original Super Nintendo (SNES) North American controller, with the lavender cables being a near perfect match for the lavender buttons on the same controller. I find this pretty interesting because none of the product shots show this off, which seems like it would be an obvious thing with the new Nintendo Switch Online SNES controller being released a couple years back. Here is the most critical part of my review: the build quality. Within a few days of using the headset, not even for very extended periods of time, my microphone became extremely floppy. Eventually, it became freely moving, and would just flop all the way down if not in the upright position. This can be fixed, but you need to disassemble your headset nearly fully on the left ear and tighten the screw that keeps it in place, which suggests to me that this will be a reoccurring issue. Additionally, this is where I found out that the muting feature was really only a thing for the original A10s, and not the A10 Gen 2 (which is this listing). When pointing the microphone up, you can feel a slight bump along the track, which I figured was the indication for the muting feature (though it didn't actually mute the headset, so I figured mine was faulty). Come to find out, upon opening the headset, it's just a bump in the plastic intentionally placed there to *feel* like it's doing something, but doesn't seem to be attached to any electronics. There seems to only be a single cable coming off of the microphone arm, which has no way of detecting at what angle the arm is adjusted to (this is as far as I can tell. I did not remove the circuit board fully to determine this since it wasn't necessary for my repair). It is inexcusable that the headphones malfunctioned to this degree after about a week of pretty light use, and a person who is inexperienced with disassembling technology will likely break these headphones upon attempting to repair them because of the way some parts are positioned. My advice, if you are completely unfamiliar with opening up electronics and need to do this repair, is to open things very slowly. Wires are in very inconvenient locations on this headset and the speaker itself is fairly difficult to remove by hand and will keep the outer panel attached to the headset until you disconnect it.

I recently purchased this product and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I opened the package, I could tell it was made with great attention to detail and quality. The product works exactly as described and has exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to use, reliable, and has quickly become part of my daily routine. I especially love how well it performs compared to similar products I’ve tried in the past.

I grabbed the Astro A10s in April thinking they’d be a solid “set it and forget it” headset. For a bit of context (keeping it anonymous): I work in industrial automation and spend a lot of my time around equipment where reliability actually matters—plus I’ve done plenty of preventative maintenance work, so I’m pretty forgiving about normal wear as long as things are built sensibly. Sound/comfort-wise, they were honestly pretty good. Nothing blew my mind, but for the price they did the job and I didn’t feel like I was wearing a clamp after a couple hours. But here’s the dealbreaker: the mic literally fell off after about 7 months, and this wasn’t from abuse. I wasn’t rage-throwing them, yanking cords, or tossing them in a backpack. I hugged my girlfriend, went to flip the mic back down like normal, and noticed it had fallen off. Just… detached. That’s not “oops I was rough,” that’s “this shouldn’t happen.” So yeah—if you’re considering the A10s, I’d recommend spending a bit more and grabbing something with better long-term build quality, like one of the HyperX headsets. The A10s were fine… until they weren’t, and the failure was way too basic for something you handle daily.

My youngest destroys gaming equipment like a monster, so I tried to find something at the cheapest price point where headsets start to get decent ($70-$80), and tried these because I heard good things from a ton of folks. I did check them out in person to take a closer look at the ear padding and headband, and was pleasantly surprised. The construction was solid: sliding headband adjustment was tight with no set "click" points; the pivot points are solid and well constructed and don't look like weak points at all; the fabric covering the ear padding is soft and well attached with no pleats or loose ends/threads; the memory foam is really decent quality, and doesn't retain heat; and the 3.5mm jack cord seems somewhat heavier duty than average -it's thicker, and resists kinking. The sound is exceptional for this price range -very well balanced with decent frequency range, and no tinny sounding treble. The only negative things I have to say about this headset is that the fabric over the memory foam is harder to clean than solid vinyl, but it's so much more comfortable that it's barely a drawback. In this price range I've had an Xbox headset, two different Turtle Beach headsets and a Hyper X Stinger. All were far less comfortable over the ears, weren't as adjustable or comfortable to wear, and didn't have nearly as good quality sound (the Hyper X sound quality was total garbage in my opinion).

One because i can’t put zero, these are trash i do not recommend, the mic part is super loose after only a couple time using them! They look good but aren’t reliable
