One of my favorite boyhood books ever, but skip the awful Return of Tarzan.
As an adult I re-read this book and realized the author cannot write good dialogue. As a young pre-teen boy though, I totally loved the book. I just wish they could make a good Tarzan movie. Every one after Johnny Weismuller’s have stunk it up.

Where are the illustrations??
I purchased this book because the back cover states “illustrations from early editions are reproduced in this 100th Anniversary collection.” There are no illustrations in this book!
