Comprehensive Textbook of Nursing Education, 2/E sets out a complete teaching-learning framework for nursing education, built around a five-part Circle of Learning that moves from knowledge acquisition and skills proficiency through decision making, simulation in teams, and clinical experience. It is designed to the prescribed Indian Nursing Council (INC) syllabus for MSc (Nursing), running 550 pages across 16 chapters, and doubles as a dependable reference for undergraduate nursing students. Coverage opens with the philosophy, psychology, and foundations of nursing education, then moves through the teaching and learning process, teaching-learning methods, and instructional media and technology, before turning to measurement and evaluation and standardized and non-standardized testing. This second edition adds recommendations from the National Education Policy, 2020, and introduces new instructional media topics, tele-nursing, the use of mobile technology in education, and the use of games in education, alongside a stronger emphasis on competency-based curriculum and choice-based credit system concepts for undergraduate students. Every concept is illustrated with flowcharts and pictures and supported by samples of educational practical topics for direct classroom and clinical-teaching use. Who This Book Is For: MSc Nursing Students: covers the complete INC-prescribed MSc (Nursing) education syllabus unit by unit, from the foundations of education through measurement and evaluation. Nursing Faculty and Educators: provides teaching-learning methods, instructional media guidance, and sample educational practical topics ready for direct classroom and clinical-teaching use. BSc Nursing Students: doubles as a reference text, with dedicated coverage of competency-based curriculum and choice-based credit system concepts prescribed for undergraduate students. GNM Nursing Students: serves as a foundational reference for nursing-education principles and teaching-learning theory alongside the undergraduate curriculum. Nurse Curriculum Planners: includes ready-to-use Master Rotation Plan and Annual Rotation Plan templates plus examination guidelines per the revised BSc (N) Curriculum. Why This Book Helps: Keeps pace with current INC requirements: built to the INC syllabus for MSc (Nursing) and equally useful as a reference for undergraduate nursing students, so readers work from a single text aligned to current regulations. Brings teaching practice up to date: new-edition coverage of tele-nursing, mobile-based learning, and educational games, plus National Education Policy 2020 recommendations, closes the gap between classroom methods and current nursing-education technology. Removes the guesswork from clinical rotation planning: ready-to-use templates for the Master Rotation Plan and Annual Rotation Plan for the BSc (N) new syllabus give curriculum planners a structured format instead of building one from scratch. Keeps examinations compliant: new examination guidelines per the revised BSc (N) Curriculum and Continuing Nursing Education Regulations, 2019, both per INC, let faculty align assessments to current regulatory requirements. Bridges service and education: emphasis on integration of nursing service and education in India, supported throughout by sample educational practical topics, connects theory to real clinical-teaching practice. Key Features: Five-part Circle of Learning framework: structures every unit around knowledge acquisition, skills proficiency, decision making, simulation in teams, and clinical experience. 550 pages across 16 chapters: spans the full INC syllabus from Introduction to Education and the Teaching and Learning Process through Measurement and Evaluation and Standardized and Non-standardized Tests. NEP 2020-aligned new content: adds tele-nursing, mobile-based education, and educational games as new instructional-media topics for this edition. Ready-to-use rotation-plan templates: includes Master Rotation Plan and Annual Rotation Plan formats for the BSc (N) new syllabus. Illustrated throughout: concepts are supported by flowcharts, pictures, and samples of educational practical topics for direct classroom application. Content and authenticity
It’s a printed copy of a original book because i have seen the original book which is purchased from the book store retailer and the quality of paper and color prints were much better than this so if you have a store near you where you can get the book from then don’t hesitate to buy it from offline store I myself rather get it offline than online. Content wise it’s the same but when you can get the original by adding 50 to 100 bucks more then why to purchase printed copy.
