Helmet is light.
I decided to buy this helmet after pricing out all of the inner parts I would need on my Aria helmet. The wind noise is low the helmet is as light as my Aria helmet and it does not blow all around when it is windy out. I also bought the dark smoke shield and so far I love it and the looks are really nice as well.

Reminder to inspect your helmets
I was super excited to get my hands on the accolade RF1400 since it’s sold out everywhere. Luck was short lived though. I always inspect my helmets whether new or old. Just a little reminder that even new helmets can be bad. Foam right on top of the head is cracked, punctured, and separating.The helmet overall damage aside is a nice upgrade from the RF1200. More snug fit and better ventilation.

Warning...Shoei changed sizing
I've had two other Shoei helmets over the past 10 years and both were medium. This medium is more like a small. Absolutely doesn't fit. Thought I could squish the cheek pads with books and it worked a bit, but not nearly enough. I'm past the return window and that's my fault. Love Shoei but buy a size up maybe?
