Good lock, and fits Tacoma factory receiver
At this point, I've had this lock on my Tacoma continuously for almost 4 years. It still works great - coming on and off easily and reliably when I need to swap or stow the hitch. I recently tried another brand of lock trying to get a matched set of hitch and trailer locks, and was reminded what a nice lock this is.I lost the rubber cap a couple of years ago, but hit it with Teflon spray a couple times a year to keep it in good shape. My 3rd gen Tacoma's factory receiver is a little thicker than most 2" receivers, so many 2" receiver locks don't work. They need about 3" of span for this application. This Connor lock fits no problem and has about half an inch to spare.

Awesome Lock!
This product does exactly what it is meant to do. It has an excellent finish on it. They also give you 2 different sizes. Which is great. The lock functions very well. It's a very smooth process. The only problem I had was the rubber cover for the lock. It broke off very quickly. I wish the rubber was just a little bit thicker. It's there to protect the key hole. Since the lock portion is on a swivel, you can just turn it. Avoiding any gunk getting in the hole. All in all, I would buy it again. It's a excellent product!

Sturdy
Arrived on date promised. It is well made and looks and works as described. Cover on keyhole appears to fit snugly, but would recommend you do as I did, spray some silicone in the key chamber and around the outside of the cover to help keep out water and road chemicals, and to check from time to time that debris has hot gotten inside, and continue to spray small amounts of silicone lubricant when necessary. That should avoid the problems of lock becoming inoperable as some have described as an issue with receiver locks. Like everything, requires maintenance if you want it to last.

Nice!
Items arrived quick and nicely packaged, it was just as described and looked just like it did on the site. This items feels strong and of good quality, easy to use and love that the lock where the key goes is nicely protected by this rubber cover so if you go off road or in muddy places at least it keeps dirt and small particles that can get in the key hole clean and protected. It comes with 2 different size and you choose whichever one is better for you, I chose the smallest one and the only reason I give it a 4 star and not 5 because even though I chose the smaller size hitch in hoes it would have a tighter fit it was still a little wobbly, but I used it few times during the last summer (2017) and it was ok and no issues, let's see how it does when I use it again during this summer.

So far so good... lock hasn't rusted or seized up
I previously owned a Curt brand hitch lock where the lock mechanism rusted out and seized up after just a summer's worth of use, requiring some skilled drilling, cursing, and much gnashing of teeth to get it off my SUV. That happened despite taking it off the SUV when not in use and the occasional spraying with a silicone based lubricant. I then bought this one hoping for better results. So far, I've had this Connor hitch pin on the SUV intermittently over the past 6+ months with no issues.I mostly use it to secure the hitch mount cargo carrier to the SUV when the family goes to the beach, so that nobody is running off with the cargo carrier while we're enjoying the sand and the sun. Every so often I'll tow a trailer. During the summer this gets pretty frequent use and gets exposed to the salty ocean air about every other weekend as the SUV is parked right by the beach. The hitch pin fits well in our SUV (QX80), even though the bulky locking mechanism where the cotter pin usually goes can make things a bit cramped. Once on, I haven't had any issues with it unlocking by itself or any nonsense like that. The rubber "lid" stays on pretty tight, despite the vibrations and bouncing around for the 2.5 hr drive to the beach. During a recent winter road trip up north, it was exposed to tons of road salt and left on for 10 days outdoors without a problem.I've just inspected it and there's the usual expected amount of scuffs and scratches, but the lock mechanism works well and looks no worse for wear. I guess only time will tell whether this one will last. I take it off the SUV when not in use and store it in the garage. Every so often, when I remember, I'll squirt some silicone based lubricant in the locking mechanism. So far, so good.

Works great on my F150 and it’s affordable.
So far so good with this hitch pin after several months of use. I’ve read the reviews with the lock sometimes getting frozen in place due to moisture or corrosion. To help prevent this, I added a little grease on the shaft and the lock. I also added some grease to the key and inserted it into the lock to help with keeping things lubricated. Once a month I also unlock it just to make sure things are working. The shaft is a bit long for my F150 through the hitch, so I added a spring to the shaft to keep it from sliding back and forth to reduce banging around when making turns.

seems sturdy and reliable.
item exactly as described, worked perfectly to lock my hitch and i haven't had any issues with it at all since i purchased it.I Have had this lock since June 2017 and it has worked great each time i needed to unlock it and remove it or put it back on. Now with that said you should know i don't leave my hitch attached thru the winter months i remove it and the lock oil the lock and put it away till spring when it's time to get my boat back out then it stays on all summer rain or shine...with that said i truly like this lock and would recommend it.
