I was a little apprehensive when they arrived as they were in such small boxes; they are build your own kits really, which appear to be reasonably sturdy once assembled. The only problem really is each hook is only long enough for one coat, jacket or cap; hence the reason for purchasing two of them. They really don't look strong enough to hang heavy long winter coats that I wear; fortunately my partner only wears jackets, so not a problem hopefully. They seemed to be easy enough to assemble and look OK before he filled them up.
