It works well if you do it right.
My boat is a 19 ft. bow rider, and below comments specific to that.I needed the pole at full extension which is JUST long enough. A little longer pole would be better. This product is effective in eliminating dished places in your cover that collect water, but only if it is accompanied by cover tie down around the edge of your cover. If your boat is kept in the water at an uncovered dock, you will need to run light weight ropes under the boat connecting and tightening opposite sides of your cover. The straps included with this product need to run OVER the top of the upper triangular plastic piece not just hook into the corner tabs or the plastic corner tabs may break when you pull the straps tight.

It really works!
If you're reading this, you know how much of a pain it is to cover the boat after the end of a long day on the lake! This product doesn't make that part of it better because it adds more steps to the covering process. But for the purpose in which it's made, it's worth the extra time to cover the boat! It's adjustable enough for you to move the straps or the stand to the low spots in your cover. I was able to get mine right and no more pooling of water! It's not difficult to set up by any means, it just takes more time...but it saves you more time in the end because you don't have to deal with the pools of water!I give it four stars because the straps are a pretty standard quality. Mine are still new and are holding up, but I can see them becoming brittle or ripping as time goes on. But guess what? This is Amazon! When they do fail, I'll just purchase a higher quality strap and buckle and give it more life! This is worth the price. I was worried at first, but it does what it advertises. I'm very happy with it.

Not a one person install
Overall it works pretty good, for what it is, fabric straps. Still had a spot that pooled water when raining. The installation however, is a TWO person job. The front of the strap goes under the bow eye of the boat and has a plastic cover on it to protect the boat. You need someone to hold this in place while you connect the straps to the back of the boat and over the center tower. The plastic cover adds enough weight, the strap falls to the ground in the front taking the rest of the strap with it. Near impossible to hold both ends of the strap and maintain tension during install.

Easy assembly
Using on a 1972, 16’ Lund fishing boat. Easy to install and looks like it’ll work well for supporting the cover. Expect it to do fairly well in the snow.

Works great for rain, but not so good for snow
This is one of the better solutions I've found to keep my boat cover supported to water doesn't pool. With the rain it works perfectly. 100% of the rain just runs off the boat. But if you get a little snow, you need to remove it. If you don't, at best it will stretch your cover, but worst case is it could cause it to tear if it is more than a year old. Once the snow is removed it drains and drys nicely. The other issue with the snow is the plastic element at the top of the pole that the straps run through. Snow adds stress to the plastic element. It bends, but being cold and if bent too much I'm pretty sure it will just break.Overall I love the system, but I'll be honest. It is a bit of a pain to instal by yourself. You can do it by yourself, but if you can get a second person to help it goes super fast and easy. Overall work the money and I love they have lots of other accessories that can be used on the pole.

Money lost
This product looks nice and the video makes it seem easy to use. I assure you it is neither. First once I set it up which is hard to do by yourself. The straps would not stay in the slots on the board like they are supposed to. It took a great deal of time and trouble to get them to stay put. Second the straps are not very strong and for that matter the board atop the pole isn’t either. If you are in an area with snow, ice, rain, or any other substance that could gather on top of your covered boat then this system is not for you. Third after everything was set up and the very first rain came, I woke up to nice sections of water pools that the straps had created. The rain water will collect between the straps and the windshield as well as between the boat edge and the straps. And this is where the board strength comes in. It is not strong enough to tighten the straps or your cover to keep the pooling from happening. All said, I am very disappointed and will let everybody I know to stay away from this product.

this is by far the best support system I've yet found
After using various homemade methods including 3/4 and 1 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe, which is awkward to handle alone, and sags in the summer heat, this is by far the best support system I've yet found. Note: it uses only ONE very long strap, which anchors to the back, then through the pad on the support pole, then up to the front, under the bow, and up over the other side of the pole and pad, and back to the other side of the rear of the boat. The after installing on a 23ft boat, it still had a BUNCH of strap left over, I would guess this would still work on a 26ft boat.Way better than home made solutions, and it's compact, easy to handle, and can easily be folded up into the cover for easy storage.

Good product and does what I need
I only use these cover supports in the spring, summer and fall. I do not use them in the winter and store the boats inside. I would not try to use this for winter protection and would have the boat properly shrink wrapped as the weight of snow could be too much for the design to support. These are designed to keep a boat covered elevated to allow rain water to run off. For the seasons I need it for, it does the job. Keeps the cover high and prevents the puddling as well as leaves and other debris from getting in the boat. If you have a long hull with a larger interior area, I recommend you get 2 stands.

Does the job
Bought this for my 14' aluminum fishing boat. Gives the cover a bit of loft to keep the rain from pooling. Setup wasn't bad, plastic construction could fail if man-handled but it does the job and even if i get a couple seasons out of it i'm happy. Have not used it while towing the boat, but it works well while the boat is stored.

Good design, poor quality material
Overall product design is a good concept. It's too plate is a bit cheap and flimsy. The straps that cover the bow to offer the cover support up front do not work, in any placement.
