lt was a little slow at first but got better. Kept my attention and had a really good but surprise ending . I know I will watch this drama several times and enjoy it just as much as I did the first time.

But double subtitles made it to difficult to actually concentrate on the storyline. I couldn't find a setting to remove them at all. There was no other issues with this set. PMP has amazing sets and I own quiet a few of them, around 30 or more, and are usually one of my favorite companies that make dramas. There are no other trademarks on the set that I saw. But there is a noise that sounds like crickets or something that is loud on the second disc in most of the night episodes. If you need Chinese subtitles or understand the spoken Korean language then this set might be perfect for you. Or if double subtitles are not a problem for you and you can still enjoy the drama easily, then this will work for you. The dialogue and subtitles seem to be synced well. I do not know of any other companies that make this drama or if they will in the future. Ask sellers questions about their sets.I have many dramas in my collection that have various issues from heavily trademarked, bad syncing, and endings being missing. But I decided the benefits of owning it are more than the issues I had with them. This is unfortunately, one to decide for yourself on. I put these dramas on a scale of 1-10 , with the availability of the set as a factor and then decide. Weigh the quality of video with the quality of the subtitles. I own over 300 dramas and these decisions have now become easier for me. I want you to have the needed information to make the best choice for yourself and save you the frustration of finding out like I did.*************************Costumes and acting*************************The costumes and scenery and sets are beautifully done. The chemistry between the actors is amazing. I loved how flirty the real Princess was in order to get rid of her teachers in these costumes. The actors looked natural in them also.********************Storyline********************Se Ryung and Princess Kyunghye trade places for the lessons that that Princess Kyunghye is required to take and would rather have fun instead. Since the last teacher was fired and the new teacher is Kim Seung Yoo who doesn't know the difference. After all, the Princess sits behind a curtain and will not see her face. What could go wrong? Why? Because there is a possibility of an arranged marriage between them. Se Ryung wants to check him out. But this teacher has no plans to be seduced by this fake Princess, the real Princess likes to try that on the teachers to get them fired. While the two women trade places the Princess Kyunghye meets a strange man who jumps into her plankton to hide. He will become a main interest for this real Princess.Since the teacher has seen the Se Ryung 's face while teaching, Princess Kyunghye decides that Se Ryung should continue the classes and she can have some free time to herself. The Se Ryung and the teacher fall in love but she can't reveal her true identity. The two families are enemies.Se Ryung 's father is secretly plotting to steal the throne and Kim Seung Yoo's father is the Kings most trusted man. The king plans for Princess Kyunghye to marry Kim Seung Woo in order to protect her and his son, the future King who is about 12 at the time. But Kim Seung Yoo is framed for seducing the Princess and luring her outside the palace for immoral purposes along with other charges. He was with Se Ryung, not knowing her true identity. He will not reveal that because impersonating royalty is punished by death. So the king looses out on the Prince Consort of his choice. The Pincess actually liked Kim Seung Yoo secretly.Kim Seung Yoo, Jong ( future Prince Consort) and Officer Shin Myun are best friends and are closer than real bothers. But their bonds will be tested and even destroyed in some ways. Officer Shin Myun will fall in love with Se Ryung secretly and now knows that she is the woman that Kim Seung Yoo is in love with. Standing by as marriage talks between their families happen in hopes of marrying the woman he loves even if she doesn't love him yet. He will betray his friends to meet his own objectives.The King dies and he names Kim Seung Yoo 's father as guardian for the future king to protect. But there is a plot to overthrow the established people who are out to protect the Princess and the Prince. Grand Prince Suyang, Se Ryung 's father, will now kill everyone in his quest for the throne. Innocent Royal family members will die at the hands of this new ruthless King. There are many deaths as the plot unfolds and lots of war action in this.The Teacher Kim Seung Yoo and his family are framed for treason and most are killed. But what happens when he discovers her true identity? And how far will she go to save his life? Will she be forced to marry his friend who is now cold blooded and only wants her to be his? Can the Royal family survive the takeover and turn it around again? How far will the King go to kill Kim Seung Yoo? And how many times will he manage to escape death?This is a love story that shows how much these two love each other and will sacrifice for them. Se Ryung saves him from death multiple times, even taking an arrow for him. She will never love anyone but Kim Seung Yoo. And he will only love her, but can she watch as he tries to kill her father? He will lead a movement to overthrow the king. Will she finally see that her father is crazy with power and bloodlust?CommentsThis drama is highly recommended by people for a great reason. But I feel that comparing them to Romeo and Juliet does them an injustice. Romeo and Juliet didn't suffer as much as these two did or sacrafice as much. Except with Romeo and Juliet, who chose death over being seperated when the other appears to be dead. But this ending is a suprise for everyone. good plot subtitles are good size and easy to read scenery is very good and well filmed

I have never been into foreign films or series with subtitles before, but I have fallen under their spell with these Korean series'. You are drawn into the intrigue of the drama.

This drama is one of the best that I have seen so far. It quickly swept its way to my favorite top five along with City Hunter. A lot of the times I watch drama I fastforward through some scenes because the story begins to drag. However, this drama had me riveted to my seat just like City Hunter. The entire cast was wonderful and the two main lead characters, Se Ryung and Seung Yoo, had an amazing chemistry. Their love story was so beautiful and poignant. The more I watched Se Ryung's character unfold, I was somewhat reminded of Jennifer Ehle's portrayal of Jane Austen's Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice 1995. I quickly fell in love with her character as much as I did Seung Yoo's. The other princess, Kyung Hye, was also an impressive character along with several others like Jong and even Se Ryung's ruthless father. The story on a whole was compelling and I fell very much in love with it..so much so that I had to own it. It's the first Korean drama I've bought despite the fact that I've watched quite a few and really enjoyed quite a few.

So excited for this DVD set… I started watching the series when I was in school in Thailand… now I get to relive that beautiful memory any time:) ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was on was on TV but I could never get a goodEnglish sub title so when I saw it on Amazon I ordered it . It was a super enjoyable drama and I will watch it again. Loved this it was will worth the money.
