Vanguard Military Ear Plugs with Chain and Case (Green, Small)

I was issued a pair of these in the Army. If you get the correct size, they are great. Military retail clothing stores usually only stock the large and medium sizes. I require the small size, so I was pleased to find them on Amazon. I've tried lots of other kinds of ear plugs and nothing beats these military ear plugs for fit, comfort, ease of use, and ear protection. It is nice to have the carrying case and small chain, too.

The best! Even if you throw the plugs away, the case is Milspec. Doesn't crush, bend, chip, crack, etc. Perfect for at the ready factory use.

What I received looks very similar to what was shown. The silicone is softer than many Ive tried, which is good. However, instead of the rounded edges on the flanges, they are very sharp and flat. I expected more of a donut shape around the central stem. This makes all the difference in the world when it comes to comfort, as I have tried many earplugs of the same or similar design and they feel too sharp and painful for me. Definitely not comfortable enough to sleep in.

I used these back in the day and they are the best earplugs I've ever used. I happened to purchase the wrong size this time. I don't think one should wear them for long periods all the time bc they occlude airflow completely but they are amazing. I just need to get the right size.

Case is junk. Lid will not stay securely closed.Don’t use the case if you want to keep your earplugs.The earplugs alone are decent, but not good enough for $12.

Bought it to hang on my motorcycle jacket. Always liked these plugs and this case is identical to the one I wore on my field jacket many years ago. Next day (Sunday) delivery was a plus.

I had a pair of ear plugs like these when I was in the Army in the late 2000’s. These ear plugs are like I remember.
