Mark3 APF Thixotroph​ic Flouride Gel

My husband had stage IV cancer of the tongue and had huge amounts of radiation to his mouth and neck. As a result he has severe dry mouth which creates the need for super home care and regular weekly at-home fluoride treatments. His dentist was concerned because he hadn't bought the fluoride from him for a couple of years and thought he was going without. Well, at $80/per bottle from the dentist, we could not afford that. This stuff has the same active ingredients as the stuff the dentist sold us, same strength--plus the added benefit of Vit. E to soothe and moisturize the tissues and xylitol for added mineralization and defense against bacteria. And it's a fraction of the cost!! I hope it continues to be available on Amazon. I'm going to stock up just in case.

I bought this for my son. I thought it was the daily treatment you leave on before bed. I was wrong and it was my fault. I skimmed the description. If you are going to use this you will need disposable mouth trays. You put the flouride into the tray and leave trays in the mouth for at least ten minutes. It is alright to use once or maybe twice a month. This is the same treatment many dentists will use for a cavity preventative service. I can honestly say that I think this bottle will last for a lifetime!
