The Little Guy (or The Motor Scooter): The story of a diminutive soldier in the rear with the gear

If you served, you must read this book!! An interesting family dynamic takes place as he finds how difficult it can be in a family of veterans whom are convinced your voice isn't heard unless you've served. Being Italian and from the NY/NJ area, he captures my family life as it transpired before and after serving in the military. I too was "behind the lines" in the USAF as a aircraft mechanic, but also trained with weapons, something I'd never seen in my life. Book moves quickly and it's a page turner, hard to put down. Well done Mr. Grassi, from one Northeastern Italian to another, keep up the good work and I look forward to your next one....

This book was entertaining, the moment I read the first chapter I could not help but laugh at the building storylines. I would absolutely recommend this to my social group. Funny and entertaining.

I really loved reading "The Little Guy". It's combination of passion and hard-edged truth makes for an experience you want to enjoy again and again. Mr. Grassi knows how to write a story. Its as if he is in the room with you telling the life experiences of the underdog who isn't fighting to win or fighting for fame, just fighting to live a full and good life. Also a must read for OIF/OEF era Vets and any New Yorker who experienced 9/11 and its aftermath.

Engaging to the veteran and the civilian alike this book explores the pressures and challenges of someone entering service. The Little Guy is a page turner and insightful to those who have not served, for those who have Corrado’s exploits and adventures will bring back memories of the camaraderie and controversies encounter during service. This should be on everyone’s to read list!
