I have always been fond of ear cleaning. It is part of my routine every after shower. It may take me a while to ever use this item, as there isn’t much cleaning for me to do.I bought this item as I have always wanted to own one. I am planning to use this on my family… if they will let me.I may be weird, but there’s something about cleaning ears that is satisfying for me. I am a nurse and I do know the dangers entailed with using instruments particularly on your ears. It’s been advised that one should not use anything other than their finger to clear their ears. But personally, I don’t think you’d be able to avoid wax build-up doing so. For me, as long as you do the cleaning with care, it should be ok.For the price I paid for this item, I would say you are getting a fair amount of stuff. Majority of the instruments are plastic but the ones made of metal (ear spoons, curette set) are made well and has a nice weight to it. The plastic material doesn’t feel cheap. The rubber bulb syringe is soft and also of good quality. In my opinion, this is a good kit to have at home or even in a clinic. The whole kit comes with it’s own container and can be stored to remain clean and organized.

I could not hear at all and thought I lost complete hearing in my left ear. After no q -tip worked I started freaking out. For 4 days straight I used ear drops Carbamide peroxide 6.5% I could feel it popping and cleaning, but noting was working. I read the reviews and ordered this kit staying hopeful. After day 3 of using it I started to give up hope even though each day stuff was coming out of my ear. Finally as my husband is squirting the water in my ear I heard a squish pop and I had complete hearing jumping for joy like a little kid! Wow that was so scary for me. I didn’t attach a picture bc I think it’s so disgusting but the biggest balls of hard wax kept coming out. My husband and I absolutely could not believe I lived with that in my ear for who knows how long. Now I hear so much better and want to do the other ear :). Give it time if it doesn’t work instantly. I don't know if it's just me but I've gotten my ears clogged twice in the past recent years and it sucks. This kit came in and saved me from having to go to the walk in clinic and pay for them to do this for like $60. Kit comes with a lot of stuff but I only used the pump to clean my ears out. Works well and it's good to have when you need it. Works best using warm water!!

Recently one of my ears has become plugged with wax on a routine basis (every couple months). Although there is no pain, it is extremely uncomfortable. I have been going to my physician to help and he cleans my ears with a fancy version of this tool and I fork over my $80.When my ear started plugging up again, I finally decided to try to clean it myself and after some lengthy reviewing I chose this product to purchase. Although I did not get my ear unplugged on the first try like my physician seems to do, it did take a couple attempts to finally get it cleaned out so I could hear clearly again. I think I will get better as I go along. It may be helpful to have a second person there to help so you don't make a mess.I appreciate how well this kit was stocked and how everything fits nicely in its carrying case, although the small metal tools/scoops look just plain scary and I don't think I will use them. My wife tried to use the small pen light and magnifying glass to look in my ear but she could not see anything. I'm sure I can find some use for it later. I did not have the leaks from the sprayer that others have noted. I guess time will tell how well this holds up.Overall a great savings in money for me since I don't have to go to the doctor every couple months.

My father had a plug of earwax inside both his ears and needed it removed because it affected his hearing. I did the peroxide and warm water concoction and it definitely worked. I had previously tried Debrox in his ears but it didn’t budge. I had to refill the bottle 3 times for each ear and the earwax started to come out in little pieces until finally the plug came out. He was so thankful and I was so happy it worked. This is an excellent product, it came with everything I needed. Thank you!
