Tasmota compatible
Tasmota compatible. I do prefer smart plugs but when applicable and you don't need energy monitoring this is fairly easy to flash with tasmota if you have basic soldering skills. Remember to never try to flash anything while connected to mains power though, as always.

Awesome! Very handy and practical. Saves energy
I love them!!!! So easy to set up, though I needed to research into using them with British wires which have a third wire. Some might use the more expensive rav switches for this issue but I just threaded the ground through the case and SCREWED (not soldering is awesome) the other two tight. It's seamless, despite having a few mm of the three wires showing. Maybe I could have done better with that but it's no problem with the product at all! Within the app there's a load of options, making the basic version perfect for everything but more specific tasks like perhaps built into wall sockets or temperature/humidity control. I bought these as a test before buying a pack of ten, and I'll definitely get the big pack when pay day comes! So far I have a floor lamp, which only two wires, wired I to it and also the extension cord for the tv-the TV has a surprisingly low wattage, and I don't have much more on the strip so it's safe...even if it wasn't, I understand the 10a fuse is just to protect the wiring, so while it shouldn't be pushed, it should be absolutely fine anyway. So the TV can be switched off when I walk out, or if I leave it on and later decide I won't come back to it, or go out/to bed and forget to turn it off. With said floor lamp at the opposite end of the room from the door i used to often forget turning the main light on before the lamp off, so having a pitch black room at night to fumble out from. Now I just go to bed, switching it off on the stairs or in bed. The app has white or black on an animated switch, clarifying whether the device is on or off anywhere in the world with internet, or anywhere on the property with WiFi (if the internet goes off).A cool thing is I saw the latest sonoff basic on Amazon but I don't see the difference. I just went on the app after linking the device to my internet/phone/account and within the settings of the device, manually updated its software. This is something one should do once in a while with all of them anyway, it just means some things are added. I think the two updates I've done so far are for inching & the other thing and the ability to link a phone as a device viewer for cctvThe widgets are awesome, took me a while to realise "ewe" (the app/company, ewelink) has them and I tried a few third party apps but they were crap. Anyway, when I found ewe had widgets I instantly added them to my phone's home screen. They take one unit of space each, just click once for on and once for off, instead of going into the app each time one needs to operate/observe the switches. Unfortunately, though, and I don't know why-whether it's my internet/phone or the app/server I don't know, but the widgets can be a little funny, needing to be double tapped (usually one tap on/off) to in effect wake up and respond. Then on, it's back to a one tap operation as usual. The sonoff switches also have a manual button on the boxes themselves for manual use. If the phone/pc/tablet etc for some reason is less convenient, one can simply push it on/off with a foot (I replaced the foot pedal on my floor lamp) or hand.To help others with creativity I don't mind sharing my ideas for more switches: fish/turtle tanks lights, alcove lights (strip lights), lights down the long garden path when taking the bins out, maybe a big 4 channel for the electric fireplace, my water boiler/kettle, bedroom light...it also helps me ensure on a larger level that all relevant electronics are absolutely off if i leave the house for the day, weekend or longer. The ability to inch and such with the switches is handy on some applications and the ability to link a camera, or phone as a camera, to visually see in real time what's happening with a device or its application. My last comment is concerning the app notification I keep getting lately, at least once a day. I've checked on Google play, it isn't an app update needed. It isn't an update for the devices, those are fine. The notification never says what it's come up for or about, nor is it a link to the app or a page within the app which needs attention. I can't find whatever it is, but the app is still fine and totally on point, very well made and maintained
