Their heat-moldable, reusable design ensures a custom fit and long-term comfort without batteries or bulky gear, making them perfect for shooters, hunters, and professionals exposed to loud environments. ## Description Decibullz are do-it-yourself custom-molded earpieces for earplugs, earphones, and more. Easily molded by you to the unique shape of your ears. Our earpieces easily form to the natural contours of your ear. Decibullz provide a secure, snug fit, allowing earpieces to stay in place when you’re on the move. The quick molding process ensures that every user gets an ideal fit, allowing them to wear these earplugs for hours without discomfort. Attach the back plug and smallest silicone tip to one of the molds and drop it into boiling water—one mold at a time. Wait 5 minutes, then safely retrieve with a metal spoon. Allow mold to cool for 30 seconds. Then, insert into ear and gently shape to your unique contour. Leave mold in for 2 min so it retains the new form once removed. Once you’ve repeated these two steps for the second mold, adjust the silicone tips as necessary, and enjoy. Re-mold as often as necessary for the perfect fit. ## Features - CUSTOM HEARING PROTECTION FOR SHOOTING: Our custom molded earpieces provide a comfortable fit tailored to your ear. This ensures a secure seal, protecting against harmful noise while maintaining situational awareness and clear communication. - FILTERS LOUD NOISE, NOT ALL NOISE: Cuts sudden noise like gunfire down to safe levels while letting ambient sound through, so hunters hear calls and rustling brush, and range shooters hear an instructor's commands, for beginners & enthusiasts alike. - EASILY MOLDABLE EARPLUGS: Heat the thermoplastic molds in boiling water for 5 minutes, cool for 30 seconds, press into your ears, and hold for 5 minutes to set. Didn't get a perfect seal? Reheat and remold; they're re-moldable with our molding tool. - SWAP OUT EARMUFFS & FOAM PLUGS: No bulky earmuffs trapping heat or breaking your cheek weld, no foam plugs to rebuy. Reusable earplugs pay for themselves over time. Pro tip: double these up under earmuffs for the loudest calibers. - BUILT FOR THE JOBSITE: Around forklifts, jackhammers, and power tools, workers still need to hear a horn, siren, or a coworker's warning shout. At the shooting range for an afternoon or an 8-hour shift, Decibullz keeps you protected and aware. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06XN6B7M1 | | Best Sellers Rank | #11,181 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #12 in Hunting & Shooting Earplugs #147 in Earplugs | | Brand | Decibullz | | Brand Name | Decibullz | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.8 out of 5 stars 2,028 Reviews | | Item Dimensions | 4.5 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches | | Item Form | Pair | | Item Highlight | No Batteries, Filters Impulse Noise, Passes Ambient Sound for Situational Awareness, Hunting, Gun Range Shooters, Reusable | | Item Weight | 2.56 ounces | | Manufacturer | Decibullz | | Manufacturer Part Number | FLTR-SHO-BLK | | Material | Plastic | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Name | Tactical | | Model Number | 854843005599 | | Net Content Count | 1 pair | | Noise Attenuation | 31 decibels | | Noise Reduction Rating | 31 db | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 2 | | Product Style | One Pair | | Recommended Uses For Product | Noise Protection | | Reusability | Reusable | | Single Number Rating | 33 db | | Size | 1 pair (Pack of 1) | | Specific Uses For Product | Hearing Protection, Sound Sensitivity, Tinnitus | | Sport Type | Shooting | | Style | One Pair | | UPC | 854843005599 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Decibullz - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Plastic - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Noise Protection - **Size:** 1 pair (Pack of 1) ## Images ![Percussive Moldable Ear Plugs, 33dB NRR Shooting Ear Protection - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/618L71kOgVL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the protection rating for these with gunfire?** A: I don't know the actual rating per se but I have used these with shotgun, pistol and AR15 with no issues of bleed through whatsoever. They functioned flawlessly every time. In between lulls toy can hear range commands clearly and can carry on regular conversations without having to shout. **Q: What is the main difference between these and the Custom Molded Earplugs?** A: Totally different. Custom molded plugs go deeper into the ear canal past the second bend. The Decibullz are only molded to the outside of the ear or bowl. The greatest protection is when it’s molded to the aperture, or opening, through the second bend. Custom molded plugs can be made with a filter which blocks noises over 85dB but allows softer sounds in, such as conversation. Cost is about the same. Trust me, get custom molded plugs. **Q: They allow me to ear voices (colleagues) and block noises in marine engine room? Not blast, is a constant noises** A: Our Percussive Filters are designed to block out sudden loud percussive noises such as an explosion or gunshot. If you are looking for consistent noise reduction I would recommend checking out our regular Custom Molded Earplugs https://www.amazon.com/Decibullz-Earplugs-Comfortable-Protection-Shooting/dp/B00WIXL6IM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1494436138&sr=8-2&keywords=decibullz. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us at support@decibullz.com. **Q: What is the NRR?** A: Thanks for reaching out. The new percussion filters are designed to block out loud percussive noises while still allowing ambient noise to pass through. When a loud percussive noise is not present the earplugs will have an NRR of around 10. As soon as a gun blast or any other loud percussive noise goes off, the filter will close bringing the NRR up to as high as 33. ## Frequently Bought Together - Decibullz Percussive Moldable Earplugs for Hunting & Shooting, Gun Range Hearing Protection for Shooters, Reusable Ear Plugs for Shooting Range - Decibullz - Custom Earplug Lanyard --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.ie/products/41213058-percussive-moldable-ear-plugs-33db-nrr-shooting-ear-protection](https://www.desertcart.ie/products/41213058-percussive-moldable-ear-plugs-33db-nrr-shooting-ear-protection) --- *Product available on Desertcart Ireland* *Store origin: IE* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
