Much better!
Our 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid stock headlamps, like many cars these days, are not that good. They are better than some, but still illuminate poorly, especially around dusk. We live in a rural, deer-heavy area and my wife drives to work at 3am. She needs good lighting.I decided to go with these Laxmax 9005/H11 LED bulbs. The performance (60W, 18,000LM per pair) and price ($70) was what I was looking for. At 4% 1 Star ratings, these had a better rating than others..There is a push-on rubber cap at the back of the headlamp unit. Pull that off and the bulb is accessible through the opening. I was surprised and pleased that the kit includes a pair of cotton gloves. You do not want to touch the glass of a halogen bulb. The oils on your fingers will cause it to fail very quickly due to the heat. I wanted to keep my old halogens in serviceable condition in case the LED’s failed. While not so important, it is wise to adopt the same no-touch philosophy with high power LED’s.Note that I did change out the rubber caps to give more space for the cooling airflow from the integral fan. You can see the stock shallow caps on the windowsill in the beam pattern photo. The new caps are more hemi-spherical, allowing more room behind the fan….TOMALL 85mm 3.35inch Rubber Seal Dustproof Covers for LED Headlight Conversion Kithttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B075SFNRXK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details.Refitting the Laxmax bulb was not as easy as I was hoping. Usually, the bulb only fits one way due to the 3 differently sized prongs. I initially used the position of the cable exiting the body as the guide, assuming it was the same as the integral connector on the halogen. I was unable though to get the LEDs to face 3 and 9 o’clock. No matter how I tried, it was at an angle and each side, driver and passenger, were different! 1 Star lost! ☹Getting my fingers in the unit each time and feeling for the slots was tricky too. I checked the beams each time and they actually didn’t seem to change pattern, which was a surprise. In the end, being unsuccessful at getting the blade of the LEDs where I wanted them, I gave up and went with what I had. They seem to work fine. I did not need to adjust the beam alignment. See photos showing the angles of the LED blades. As you can see from the photo of the new and old high beams, the light is much stronger and whiter with a more pronounced central illumination area. On the road, the visibility is significantly improved. You get much more notice of an upcoming hazard. Very pleased with that! The low beam has a sharp horizontal cut-off, exactly the same as the stock halogen. The illuminated area is much more brightly lit, with more to the sides also, but the sharp cut-off means you are totally blind beyond that. I was hoping for a more distant light beam on Low, but this reproduces the stock pattern, due primarily to the headlamp reflector design, not the bulb. The line though is just at the bottom edge of most cars’ windows to avoid blinding them. So, best not raising the beam any higher..Make sure you keep the vehicle’s plug on the feed cable dangling outside the unit until you have the bulb installed. It makes finding it and connecting to the bulb’s pig-tail a lot easier. That can all be done outside and behind the housing. After connecting the plug, tuck the small black box inside the housing, keeping it and the cabling away from the cooling fins on the back of the bulb. That gets hot! There’s plenty of room in there. Fit the rubber caps, and DONE!I didn’t use the adhesive pads which are supplied to hold the black boxes. Impossible to get inside the housing. I think they are designed for where the black box would sit outside on the frame, like on my truck. I had no issues with flickering or CanBus errors..CONCLUSION:.After exactly one month of using these LED’s, my wife is very happy with their performance. Much, much better than with the stock halogens.Hopefully that means she won’t hit another deer like last October! 😉I can recommend these bulbs for your 2021 Ford Escape!

Game changer for me!
I was afraid to drive at night because of dim headlights. When cars were approaching, I could not see the shoulder beyond the approaching lights, which was dangerous. Now, I can! I'm not sure about longevity, as only time will reveal the truth of that, but right now I am more than well-pleased.Easy to install except for ballast, which you must fit into the space available. Still, a relatively speedy install.

Great lights
Arrived in about 6 days. High beams were no problem. Had to make a few modifications to get the low beams to fit. Still a great product and the bulbs are amazingly bright.

Quality product
The picture shows what I have to do to change the lights on my '07 Buick. Not something you want to do every year. I feel confident that these bulbs will last a lot longer than regular halogen bulbs, hassle free for almost a year at this point and bright, like really bright. : )

Great so far...
So far so good. I put these into my 2011 Honda CRV. The installaion was farily easy but I had to take the fuse box off the holder in order to get the light into the driver's side fixture. The lights are definitely brighter than the original halogens and the beam pattern looks a lot better. For the installation. The directions say to separate the lights from the mount, but I found it easier to put the entire assembly into the fixture, then remove the bulb to put the rubber gasket back in place. There were no issues with errors on my dashboard, just plugged them right in.I will update if anything goes wrong.

Works on 2012 Toyota Venza
I had originally bought a different brand, but one of the H11 bulbs had a loose connector that would intermittently fail, so returned them. These ones were easy to install (similar to the previous brand), worked fine with no issues that I can see. Definitely much brighter than the OEM incandescent bulbs that I originally replaced. Time will tell on longevity, but happy so far. I'll update if I run into any issues.

Great lights
I needed new headlights in my 2013 Silverado. Since you have to take the front off the truck all apart to do it, I wanted to just do everything and not have to worry about it. They are very bright, and love them. I have had them in my truck for 6 months now. So I’m not sure about the longevity of them yet.

Not great QC, but good value and they work!
When I opened the package I coyld see the product was not finished well. There was manufacturing waste on it like little chips of metal and stands of hair, looks like the milling left burn marks on some parts that were supposed to be semi-reflective, edges looked rough and there were burrs on them. At night the high beams seem useless with distinct bright spots but no light close to the front of the vehicle. Will just use low beams all the time. But the install was pretty straightforward AND THE DRL WORKS!! That was my main concern as I have purchased others and only one would work when the drls were on. I cut two slits in the rubber boots at 10:00 and 2:00 and slip them over the end of the light bulb fan. You can definitely hear the fans spinning when the car engine is not running but I imagine it would be impossible to hear them when you're driving. (The two-sided tape included does not stick to anything). The discounted price works out to be the same as buying regular light bulbs so I would definitely buy these again. We'll see how long they last!

Presque parfait mais...
Tres efficace sur les "hautes" mais les "basses" n'eclairent pas super bien et pas assez loin devant le vehicule. Reglage des phares ou manque de puissance ??? J'ai vu bien mieux avant...
