I have had lumbar issues for a couple of decades. I recently was hospitalized two weeks for lumbar pain.Upon release, I immediately ordered the Meliusly Sofa Cushion Support Board. My sofa is new with firm cushions but not sufficient I felt for my back problems.I have never had a sofa board and, honestly, was skeptical. It came in a small box and was very easy to place on the sofa beneath cushions. (I cleaned sofa well with vacuum before installing.) My sofa has high arms, and often I lie sideways with my legs on sofa and my back against the tall arm.The sofa board solved my lumbar issue the first day by giving the needed firmness and support to my lower back! I was amazed at how quickly my lower back adjusted to the needed firmness. My skepticism has been forgotten and I am an avid admirer of the Meliusly Sofa Cushion Support Board! It's great and has helped my back immensely! I was pleasantly surprised. It also is more comfortable for visitors and makes it easier for them to get up from the sofa. I give it 5 stars![I am not giving a medical recommendation obviously and it helped only my personal back issues after two weeks of hospitalization and physical rehab. However, I do not give this recommendation lightly and it genuinely has helped my own lumbar back. ]

We were trying to avoid buying a new couch for a while longer and this has been a great stop gap. Between the 70 lb and 100 lb dogs, and a teenage boy flopping on it, this couch has been abused. My mom had a hard time getting in and out of it because of the sagging. This helped immensely. My only complaint is that the cushions aren't quite as secure and start to work their way forward. It would be nice if some Velcro tape or something came with it.

The boards are easy to insert underneath cushions and can instantly give them a firmer and more supportive feel. However, one drawback of the product is that the boards are not wide enough to cover the entire surface area of larger couches, which may limit their effectiveness for some users. While they can certainly help to alleviate some sagging in the cushions, they may not be a complete fix for more serious structural issues with the couch. Overall, the Meliusly® Sofa Cushion Support Board is a decent product that can improve the comfort of your couch, but it may not be the best solution for everyone depending on the size and condition of their furniture.

I purchased my couch from a showroom floor and after about a year I noticed it wasn’t as comfortable as it used to be. I purchased this product along with a different size to accommodate my sectional. The additional support of the slats makes the couch so much more comfortable and far less saggy. Installation was quick and easy all I had to do was pull the cushions out place the pile on one end, grab the top piece and pull it across to the other end and I was finished. I have only had these for several days now so I can’t attest to their sturdiness quite yet.

It is sturdy for the intended use and the price was okay. Liked it.

We bought a showroom floor couch during the pandemic (probably a dumb move, but we needed something quickly, and ordering items took forever). It was never 'right' but it was ok. It's gotten progressively worse, so when I started looking at the reviews, this company seemed to be best. I bought the 2 set (11" each) because of the oversized couch. Doesn't fully cover it but is close enough. I suspect the one bigger size would have done a better job. But I don't want to invest any more money into it. If you need something, this sort of works, but don't be looking for a miracle.Adding to my review & updating rating (not requested by seller)- After writing the review, I received a message from the seller with suggestions and ways to solve the problem. They've gone above and beyond. I didn't expect a miracle- but am glad to see an American company wanting to make everything right. Would recommend Meliusly for future purchases!

Bought these for my couch that is starting to sag in the middle. Not sure what I expected this to do but it didn’t help at all. The 2 piece design makes no sense, there is nothing for it to hold onto to help support the middle. I had to get ones that were long single piece slats that actually provided the middle support by sitting on the front and back beams on the couch. Build quality was good but wouldn’t recommend due to the lack of support.

Does not work well for a large sofa. Sections are too small to provide the needed support.

Our couch isn't that old... 5 yes. Needed a bit more support under the cushions. I hoped these would be stronger . They are a bit short width wise so sit in the middle of the cushion. They don't touch the back or front of the couch. If they were longer width wise I think they would offer more support . I'm not returning them because they are heavy and not paying for postage.

This product is genius. It’s thinner than your cushions, (as it’s supposed to be, I’m sure) so it doesn’t show. It lays perfectly across the springs and redistributes weight so there’s no more sinking into the cushions.I personally didn’t find the package heavy when it arrived. Sturdy, yes. Heavy, not so much.Doesn’t even need instructions, it’s that intuitive. If it’s too long, the extra length just folds under.Completely saved our leather couch! We were thinking we needed a new one that would better support me, as I’m disabled and struggle getting up from a seated position. But nope! Fixed. I would recommend this for anyone.Buy it. It’s worth it.

Title says it all. Waste of money. There’s absolutely nothing about them that’s better than just flattening some boxes. Boxes might actually be better. It’s on my list to try.

One corner of the couch needed more support so we cut it and put a double layer on the one side and it was much more study.
