Pretty good for $280
Was able to get this one sale for $280, feels like a really good value. Was looking for something to store my vinyl records while partially hiding them from view, and this fit the bill. The material is definitely better than the cheap particleboard or painted MDF typically in <$200 knockdown furniture. The material is denser than particleboard with decent looking grain on it, I don't think (?) it's MDF either as the screws dug in pretty snugly. It's a little on the soft side, so be careful not to drop or abuse it, and use a soft mallet if you need to tap it during assembly. The back shear panel looks to be a thin piece of plywood rather than cardboard - they did have major bows to them, but once screwed in it's not so bad.The only tricky part of assembly was when attaching the top panel, the dowels wouldn't align easily, so had to loosen some of the cam fittings on the side panels to allow enough slop to get things to fit. Tightened things back up and all was good. The doors had enough adjustment to allow for decent alignment and smooth operation. The doors come with the window panels captured (I think they are a plexi and not glass), so no screwing them in which tends to look cheap and come loose over time.Worst part was the adhesive stickers for marking each part and their assembly orientation. The residue is pretty tenacious so I had to wet and scrub to get most of it off, thankfully the discoloration it leaves is in places you won't see very often. One part came slightly damaged, but was easy to repair and of little consequence. A nice plus was that it includes a lot of extra assembly hardware.I used wood glue on the dowels, even though the instructions don't suggest it, so hopefully it holds up well in the long run. Very happy with my purchase so far...

Solid wood!
Solid wood is a real plus. But know it is soft wood, not hard wood, so subject to dings. Assembly instructions ok, although door hinge attachment was a challenge. Looks nice...excellent small piece. Worth the price we paid...$170 for ‘like new.’ It was new!

It was easy to assemble and it looks great
I bought this to hold TV and network equipment for my place. The box arrived kind of thrashed but it was well packaged and none of the parts were damaged. I have assembled cabinets before and have not needed to use any spare parts, but I did so on this one. The hole where the cam locks fit in and lock to the screws studs on one side were a little shallow. I tried to lock them in but the cams snapped in two when I put a little pressure on them to lock. After I broke one, I backed off the screw stud a bit and used the spare cam lock. The other on the same side cracked and I had to replace that one as well. Be gentle on the cam locks. The instructions also said you needed a square to align the back before nailing it on. I didn't have one, but used a study piece of cardboard to align it. Doors and hinges attached well and were easily adjusted. All in all, happy with purchase. It took about 2 hours to assemble.

Easy to assemble, looks great
Assembly instructions are very good. The only issues I had were adjusting the hinges to make the doors close properly. Took way too much time. They should come pre-adjusted. That said, it was worth the effort

Good Quality Cabinet
The 39" storage cabinet was shipped well-protected with cardboard and Styrofoam - there was no damage to any parts. I assembled the cabinet myself and took less than an hour. I don't know why folks are having so much problem with assembly, unless it is specific to the 32" inch cabinet and not the 39". I found the instructions easy to follow and well-detailed. The finished product is sturdy and looks great. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great sturdy product.
Had problem with missing or misdrilled screw holes. That left a few imperfections and difficulty putting cabinet together. Good quality for the money.

Very happy with this cabinet. Perfect size and color. Getting the doors on was tough. Definitely need two people. Otherwise easy to assemble.

A Perfectly Designed DIY Cabinet
I am over sixty and trust me over the years I have assembled hundreds of coffee tables, dressers, end tables, dinning room sets and much much more. I was so impressed with this cabinet that I had to write a review for it. Keep in mind I usually do not write reviews. After opening the top bottom box with a knife and pulling off the top, then moving all the protective foam and important corner protectors, all the parts were shrink wrapped into one piece so you could easily pull it out. Removing all the packaging was easy and I noticed that the sequence in stacking the wood for shipping was well thought out. I read the directions and found them easy to read and follow and all parts were marked. This was the easiest assembly for this type of product I had ever done. I was impressed with the solid wood and very nice finish. Putting it together was the perfect sequence that didn't leave you the possibility of making a mistake, breaking something, stripping a screw, putting together backwards or miss-interpreting the instructions which can be enough to drive you crazy! At least me:) All in all this is the perfect DIY product. Considering the nice look and easy of assembly it is more than worth them money. I actually enjoyed putting this one together and did not swear once! It is a nice addition to my family room and looks like a million!
